I think it’s a meaningful post and #2 isn’t stepping out on faith with this one. It’s an agreement that’s implied in the song, no switch up! I also believe SC had zero clue. But I think they call him in a panic and give him the ultimatum.
The fact that Sheduer posted it and put a song about "If we locked in ain't no switching up" says a lot. Along with him working with Shedeur's QB coach, I think the connection is just too strong to not commit. Also putting bias aside, it just makes too much sense he literally jumps in as the starting QB as a true freshman and a coach that will be there, Lincoln Riley is getting fired after this season most likely.
I think Shedeur getting in on the action is the most convincing. But if we really examine the photo, did Juju actually take the keys or is Shedeur rying to get him to accept the keys? The private QB coach has many clients throughout the USA, so he is not really vested in any particular college.
Even if that is true today and Juju commits to CU, then CU still has to keep him for SIX MONTHS until January when Juju starts attending college classes. That is true for whatever college he commits to now. SIX MONTHS is a long time. The same colleges will still be trying to flip him again. If he can be flipped once, then he can be flipped twice. Nothing is set in stone.
Given the receivers who will still be around after next season, Colorado will be the most exciting team to watch in college football. Agree it’s a win win win.
Lincoln Riley has coached college coaches to the Heisman and high draft picks. When these same QBs excel at the NFL, isn't that the success of the NFL coaches? Give me the NFL coach with proven success of QBs at the NFL level and start coaching the QBs at college. Pat Shurmur.
