@@aamirsohail991 Edit: I Just finished season 2 and actually yeah itadori is more tragic. Subaru has a chance to save those he loves and redo his mistakes while itadori can't turn back time. The people he lost are gone forever and he'll have to live the rest of his life knowing he couldn't save them.
Yuji was so traumatized and mentally scarred from this arc - His teacher got sealed away. - He lost control of himself and let Sukuna slaughter hundreds of innocents. - His best friend literally had her head pop like a balloon in front of him. - Took a brutal beating from Mahito. - And he finally met his "mom/dad" (whatever you want to call kenjaku) that gave birth to him.
@@Sanikusama damn good is pushing it way too much. I'd say it's a decent shonen. Not bad, not good It can't even be classified as peak shonen and peak shonen isn't even close to peak fiction.

As for those who had to literally stand still and watch a gigantic meteorite quickly descend upon them without any hope of escaping, that was just-damn. Just damn. I'm predicting 4-5 episodes for the star plasma vessel arc/hidden inventory, 1-2 episodes for kokichi vs geto & mahito and then the rest is shibuya arc. Post-shibuya would be season 3.
Probably accurate. Hidden inventory is really short then having like 20 episodes of a season dedicated to Shibuya incident will be perfect pacing wise. We aren’t ready or worthy of this anime...
@@fayoken7447 20? Nah, I think it would be 16-18. There's no shounen with an arc longer than 20 eps. Except for 20 century anime, they got really long eps just for a damn arc, and sometimes even sub arc (Like unnecesary flashback in Naruto {Yes, I watch Naruto, everyone watch naruto as a child on TV} got it's own arc)

Is shibuya arc really that insane that it can shut the mouth of haters? Don't judge me, I am not one of the, I am a day 1 jjk fan. I am an anime only and i want to feel the hype too. Just tell me a similar type of from any other anime so i can understand it more.
@@nigamrockstar7585 for me this arc is where jjk sperate itself from the normal shonen animes where the protagonist and all of his friends win, the most similar arc to it is the great shinobi war in naruto but more brutal
@@nigamrockstar7585 I think season 1 is quite mid but this arc is risky enough and depending on how they handle it and if they add a little bit more on the themes of this arc (loss/grief/value of life) then it’ll be very good.
I still come back to this video every now and then. I remember seeing it back in 2021 with all the hype for the first season and I couldn't wait for Shibuya. Man, I love Jujutsu Kaisen, what a great series. Sadly it's almost ending, but I had a lot of fond memories thanks to it.

I love how in your animation you showed some of the tragic scenes without fully exposing what happened (Mahito and Yuuji in that hallway). I’m almost done reading through the Shibuya arc, I had to take multiple mental breaks because I was crying so much.

And thats not my point anyway, I hate seeing people make comments like this because they do it everywhere, not just on manga/spoilery content. I see comments just like this on trailers for new seasons. Someone spoiled the ending of the promised neverland s1 for me by posting stupid "vauge" comments about whats going to happen on the video for the opening, so I'd appreciate it if manga readers could contain themselves and shut their mouths, I read manga as well, and I don't spoil

If anyone’s curious, I estimate that Sukuna killed about 1,000 people in Shibuya. The population density in Shibuya is about 15,300 people/km^2. Sukuna expanded his domain to encompass 140 meters (to avoid Megumi), which gives us about 0.06 km^2. So multiply you get about 900. It was Halloween so I’d imagine quite a few more people were there, giving us 1000. I don’t think the people Mahito killed in the train station substantially changes this number. Even if it did, we were right at Shibuya station which is a bit more packed than the average.

When I orignally watched this about 9 months ago I was like damn he put in all this work an after a week it had like 10-20k views I believe. Glad to see it blew up and got 500k it deserves every view.
