People need to realize the Japanese brought judo to Brazil but at the time the Japanese called it Kano jujitsu before it officially called judo

Jiu-Jitsu have two parts, the first is Japanese Jiu-Jitsu/JJJ/Tradidional Jiu-Jitsu that is usually practice with gi. Another is Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu/BJJ/No gi Jiu-Jitsu and it's also known as MMA

The fight in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu ends when one gives up and this occurs systematically due to strangulation or dislocation.

Japanese Jiu Jitsu is the real term. It is the original Jiu Jitsu, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a derived term from JJJ but has its roots alao in Judo aswell.

as someone who is a purple belt in japanese jujitsu, this is exactly what we are trained/training to do. shihan teaches us to jot only submit our opponent, but to destroy them. in my class, he teaches us to mostly get away though. but, if all else fails, he shows us how to fight them and make them unable to move. with the logic he’s teaching us, they’ll have some broken bones by the time they walk out. this really helped though! i hope those who don’t understand the difference will come across this video.

Yes it is our hope that those ignorant to the Japanese traditional way is not the sport way in Brazil and elsewhere.

Can't wait to spend some time and watch this and learn more about your history and where you get your knowledge from. This is very much so needed. Especially nowadays.

It anoys me that every time someone says "ju jitsu" or ju jutsu they automaticly think about BJJ. bjj is groundwork, JJJ is groundwork and upstand fighting
@DetroitThreatManagementCenter
Agreed. A lot of people don’t understand the difference

Thank you, finally! I was beginning to fear that they would make Jiu Jitsu disappear and even if Shotokan Judo remains , it is not the same , thank you Gentlemen , save the original Jiu Jitsu ! .

Comander Brown Sir... This is to my mind the absolute differemce between Martial Arts and DUST Techniques. Your DUST methodology does not need long periods of training. Simple concepts of DUST can be taught and learned in minutes and practiced to Save lIfe, not attempt to Play with an Agressor in a Life Threatening situation. Having 3 levels of response to match threat level is fundamentally Powerful. I saw a vid of your Military Service it would be great to hear you narrate your Life and Service History, obviously this would require quite a few vids. Thank You

Thank you to make that clear a lot of people think jujitsu sport is better then Japanese jujutsue is dangerous but is amazing not sport to win a trophy is real martiL art for real people who want to learn self defense in real life we are not going to win a trophy or submitting the opponent on the street

Japanese Jujutsu was brutal back then, Shihan Kano remove many dangerous techniques and simplified it so it is safe to learn. The main reason why Judo wom the match is because the favor for Judo.

Jujutsu is the origin of all Japanese material arts like judo I’m goju Ryu karate practitioner I’m using a lot of jujitsu dislocations and in Bunkai we use a lot of knockdowns seems to be the same of judo so I think that all the Japanese marcial arts was born from the same father ( jujutsu) anyway doing marcial arts is very cool

jujitsu and jiu jitsu are the same. They can be spelt any way you want but the only difference is that one is japanese and the other is brazilian
@josephmoreau9615

Right! Same with judo and aiki-jujutsu. At their core, they are fundamentally different aspects of hand-to-hand combat.

yes, but Brazilian jujitsu(jiujitsu) is mostly about tapping out. Japanese jujitsu teaches you to practically break your opponent. this is coming from a purple belt in jujitsu, nearing my brown belt.

Does D.U.S.T. use sparring in their training?
@DetroitThreatManagementCenter
No it is not possible train by soaring for survival and when you spar you are building very bad habits. When your life is in danger, you don’t wanna punch people you wanna strike in the eyes throat back of the head knees do you want to rip their fingers back you wanna bite a hole in their flesh? You do not want to practice not hurting people if you’re trying to protect yourself through your training and when you work boxing and kicking, you were specifically trying not to hurt the other person so they can have another round and another match in the future. if you were to train for survival, he would concentrate on striking ice, striking throats, striking the base of the skull in the back, biting anything that someone tries used to choke you out near your face where the legs or arms you would rip the groin and pull it from their body so they cannot walk screaming going to the hospital. You stop through the knee with your boots and shoes on stomp their face and skull lights on the ground if it’s multiple aggressors or they have a Weapon And your brain is to constantly be focused on how to process the situation so you’re not breaking the law at the same time you’re defending yourself and others otherwise you become the person going to prison and or if you’re not paying attention and trained properly when the first responders arrive, the police will shoot you if they don’t shoot, you will deathly be taking you to jail because you did not know how to visually present that you were not the aggressor when the police arrived.

Both are outdated fighting styles. Neither one could defeat Mix Martial Arts or Taekwondo. I train in both and have kicked plenty of ass. Great job at breaking down the differences, but I think the people deserve to know the truth.
@DetroitThreatManagementCenter
JUJUTSU WOULD END THE LIFE OF ANY SPORT FIGHTER IMMEDIATELY ON CONTACT IN JUJUTSU EYES ARE ATTACKED THROATS ARE ATTACKED FINGERS ARE RIPPED AND BROKEN GROIN IS STRUCK GRIPPED AND RIPPED NECK IS BROKEN ARMS ARE BROKEN WRISTS ARE BROKEN LEGS ARE BROKEN ANKLES ARE BROKEN BACKS ARE BROKEN EYES ARE REMOVED BIING THE THROAT FACE ARMS FINGERS ARE ALL CONSIDERED APPROPRIATE WAS TO KILL THE ENEMY SPORTS HAVE OPPONENTS NOT ENEMIES OR ATTACKERS AND THEY ARE NOT FOR APPROPRIATE TRAINING FOR SURVIVAL MMA BJJ KARATE TKD ETC. are all businesses created to generate revenue not serious injuries and deaths. Kicking ass is not about killing people and JUJUTSU IS ONLY FOR KILLING. MMA IS A WATERED DOWN VERSION OF SPORT KARATE MIXED WITH WRESTLING AND BOXING 🥊
@PlaylistKiiing

@@DetroitThreatManagementCenter Yea that sounds like great stuff. But an advanced fighter such as myself would kick a jujitsu guys ass. I wouldn't even let the guy get close enough because of his outdated style. I've masterd three different branches and with Wing Chun alone I could keep my distance from one of those guys. It's great stuff to know but the people need to know the truth.

Thank you People need to know that BJJ needs to be qualified by having the “B” infront of the JJ Don’t refer to what Joe Rogan does as Juujutsu it is not He did BJJ Which is nothing more than techniques from Judo called Ne Waza
