The camera is right buy the needle on some of the shots so it really picks up the sound. The sound isn't any louder than than Kathy's Gammill. Really a smooth quilting machine. - Lynn
A demo on how to use the laser light and pantographs would be wonderful. I am extremely happy with my Juki longarm but the company should provide a "User Manual" that showed how to use the features of the machine.
Sorry if I speak slowly. I will work on that. We really are excited about this Juki and love to play on it. Are there any features you want to know about specifically? We are Juki dealers and we have to come up with this stuff ourselves. If you can be more specific as to what you would like to know it would be a lot easier than us trying to guess what you want. - Lynn
Kathy says that her Gammill is eight times louder. She wears headphones when she quilts because she listens to audio books when she quilts. The Juki sounds loud because the camera is really close and the microphone is really sensitive. The Juki is actually not much louder than the Juki 2010Q
The dead bar looks like it's adjusted to be in the second slot from the bottom. Is this a standard setting or how do yo determine where to place it? Also do you have a tute on care and maintenance such as oiling the Juki? Thanks. I love the Kathy leader cloths with the casings. They are so much easier to use than those without casings.
If you want to try out the Juki 2200 visit Kathy Quilts at Stylish Fabrics in Logan Utah. We are located at 138 North Main Street. We are open Monday - Saturday 9:30 - 6:00 pm
Kathy and I want to invite everyone to come see the Juki 2200 in our booth (#724) at HMQS in Salt Lake City Utah. South Towne Expo Center - May 9-11. Kathy doesn't do many public appearances so if you want to see her do her thing this is your chance.
I don't know of any companies that show how to do all of those things. It would be nice if they did. We are working on videos that show a lot more of how to use your Juki 2200 so hopefully it won't be too long. We have an eBook, "Machine Quilting Magic" that helps a lot with learning how to use your machine frame. You should check it out at our kathyquilts web site
Will there ever be a manual for this sewing machine , I'm looking for every thing that I need to do the bobbin,is only one problem that could be solved with a manual. Threading is another small problems like tension and how to set the speed .Spending more time looking for answers then sewing . A troubleshooting guide wouldn't hurt. Also how to get the bobbin to click in. your blogs help but still would like to have a manual . Thank you , Villa Swagart
