Just to clarify a few things Jules Bass died on October 25, 2022 and "Frosty the Snowman" was not done in "Stop Motion" but in standard cartoon animation.
@darthgoku90
@darthgoku90 Год назад
True, but he was animated in stop-motion for "Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July" at least, so it's not a COMPLETE contradiction.

I loved all the characters created by these 2 geniuses, especially Rudolph, known universally as the granddaddy of all Christmas specials. I make it my tradition to never miss it every year; l revert to that 3-year-old watching it for the first time in '64; for me, that's when the (commercial) Christmas season starts! The one scene that, for 58 years now, gives me goosebumps & gets "something in my eye" is when Clarice sings "There's Alwaus Tomorrow". Nothing, NOTHING fills me with more emotion, and as much optimism as l felt as a youth, to this man, now into his 60s, than that song! For me it's a time machine, taking me back to a simpler time that, looking back, l wish l'd never left. As jaded as l am today, that song instills faith & hope for the future, not just for me, but for everyone. Merry Christmas to everybody!🎅🎄💖💖💖💖💖💖

All the specials were filmed in Japan. All the puppets and set pieces were designed and created by Japanese artists. Rankin and Bass were the pockets of the endeavor and knew how to put all the pieces together to make a show. Bass additionally was half of the music which is in my opinion the extent of the Rankin Bass creative contributions to the shows.

In today's A Life Well Lived Segment, we are sadden by the loss of one of the greatest animagic puppetooner and half of Arthur J. Rankin a man who taught us about Pinocchio, The Tales of OZ and Smokey The Bear and a dragon and some holiday favorite including a famous cast including Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and that famous reindeer, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer an animal with a shiny light on his... Other included Frosty and the one I watched the most was Santa Claus who is coming to town since last night and it will next christmas and among all that The Jackson 5 and The Osmonds and their Wee Kids' hit series Kid Power. They were Coneheads, Superheroes like Thundercats, Silverhawks, The Comic Strips casts like Ke-Yow, Baby, Karate Kat, Street Frogs and Tiger Sharks. He died _________ at his home at aged 87 knowing in what place, and what day that he passed away. Arthur J. Rankin who died in 2014 at aged 89 has sons and daughters including Gardner Rankin and Phyllis Rankin and cousin Sidney Rankin Drew who was removed followed by his wife, Sylvia Bass and Renee Fisherman are in mourning three months ago before christmas. ABC, Freeform, CBS and NBC are remembering them a couple of weeks ago. That tribute is part of the golden globes and emmys tribute to those who have died in 2022. More of Arthur and Jules in 2023 and this month's upcoming special and biographies on Story Television and other networks. It replaces Bio like The Biography Channel as a the son of A&E and FYI.
