Manchester City confirmed to Atlético Madrid that their final proposal for Julián Álvarez worth €75m plus €20m add-ons has been accepted.
Manchester City and Julian Alvarez have now finalised a total agreement with Atletico Madrid over a deal for the Argentine striker this summer, it has been revealed.
As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano on Tuesday evening, Julián Álvarez to Atlético Madrid can now be considered as a ‘Here We Go’ deal in the words of the Italian transfer market insider on social media.
It is further announced that a deal is in place between Manchester City and Atletico Madrid for Julian Alvarez over a €75 million initial fixed fee, plus a further €20 million in add-ons taking the total package of the deal to €95 million.
Crucially however, Julian Alvarez has now also accepted a proposal of a five-year deal with Atletico Madrid after talks with his agent Fernando Hidalgo earlier on Tuesday, despite some concerns of differences between the parties involved in discussions.
