Doing a take on Stapleton's version..it's the best known rendition and the one my audiences tend to know. Is it not a Chris Stapleton song? Can Tim McGraw not claim Whiskey and You because Chris Stapleton wrote it? Not sure I understand the criticism.
Great song written by Dean Dillon, songwriting royalty. Originally recorded by David Allen Coe and later covered by George Jones and Chris Stapleton. Great cover.
