I think the end really hits me hard depending on where I am in life…when I open up and try to love again. It doesn’t always apply to loving someone else sometimes I need to take time to love myself again and it takes time. It’s why I love the added “soon” to it all. I’m not ready yet but I will soon, just knowing there’s hope is enough sometimes

I just discovered this. I have been living under the rock all this time.

This song destroys me every time.. absolutely devastates me. But I'll play it on repeat; it's like I'm hooked on the pain. It would take some serious balls to get up and sing this every night, balls that most 'hardcore' dudebros don't have. This is the real shit, and Jacklin is the real deal.

Will never forget when my sister first played me this song in her room after me venting to her about a heartbreak and the social teen angst that follows. I adore this song. Her voice so gorgeous and her songwriting is effortless and sincere. Love her harmonies and her fearlessness in sharing humor and melancholy.
