I love your workout reviews. They have taught me so much about what really works and what doesn't, and I feel like I have learned how to use my time better and get much better results. I'll probably check Julia's channel out, I've heard of her before and she seems like someone I would like. Also, I get it about earthquakes, I'm from the west coast. Even though I'm used to them, they can still be jarring.

Hello from England, I absolutely love watching your videos, I love that you are supersmart, as well as well educated (not always the same thing!) passionate about your trade and always keen to expand your knowledge and understanding. You don’t come to it with a know it all attitude, you are open minded and open hearted. I've been watching your videos for years now, and I just wanted to say that I really appreciate all the content you put out and how thoughtful you are with it. I think it takes an exceptionally considerate person to think about whether her mood is affecting how she's reviewing someone else's content (for the record, I found your initial reviews fair and informative and not bitchy or harsh at all), and one of the reasons I trust your content so much is that you're always trying to evaluate yourself and try to be better. A typically honest and self-reflective video as always. The zero attempt to hide the 😩 response to the prospect of running and then the 😍 response to the thought of a kettlebell workout was hilarious. P.S. - your own push up technique? *chef’s kiss* - 👏👏👏

Thank you for this! You didn't seem too negative at all. I've added a day of mobility into my workout routine and the only ones I've done are Julia's. I really love them and the practice but it's helpful to know that it might not fully be mobility training.

I think your review was very accurate. I would recommend these workouts only to people who know how to do these moves. Beginners should try different workouts because they need explanation and guidance. I loved this part where you talk about your mood - it was honest and authentic. Thank you!

It was really helpful, as I like to turn to Julia’s workouts but found myself changing a lot of the exercises throughout, and now I know a little better why 😂 and happy belated birthday 🎉

I don't think you were mean or unfair or anything like that, I really like your reviews because you always explain your reasoning, I don't like when people just say "this bad" and don't explain why, or give this cryptic "If you're in the know you know" kinda BS. Also as long as you're respectful, and you where in this video, it's ok to not like a thing. I understand RU-vid is a plataform that rewards hate/negativity and content creators sometimes want to distance themselves from that (which is a good thing) but no need to swing the pendulun all the way to toxic positivity. Keep doing awsome work Justina. All the best.

Happy belated birthday 🎂 I was so excited for this video and I'm glad you have been so honest! Julia helped me a huge lot with my mobility and as a non native English speaker I can say we tend to assume everyone understands the meaning of certain "fancy words" just because we have it in mind. In Europe we have a big influence about Latin, so maybe that also helps? Anyway, so happy you shared your thoughts 💖

Happy belated birthday. I used to do Lucy’s workouts years ago. She does tend to call everything fat burning, but I think it was really all low impact aerobics and indoor walking style videos.

I didn’t think you were too critical. The information is always so good, and I appreciate it. The oh no made me laugh. I’m not subscribed for that reason, plus the body weight only strength. Some people on my fitness forum use her workouts when they want something short and easier. They just ignore the fat burning stuff.

Julie Reppel workouts are ones I'm always conflicted on... most of her mobility workouts feel very "pinchy" i.e. painful for me (and not in a good way), but one of her primal flows is one of my top favorite workouts EVER! Honestly, it's probably more me being stiff than her. 😅Ok, quick questions, what is your opinion on Jefferson Curls? I've heard so many conflicting things. Thanks for all the work you put into every upload! It's definitely appreciated. Have a great vacation!

Pinching is actually pretty common during mobility training! That’s a sign that you’re missing some range of motion and can give you an idea of different corrective drills to implement. In regards to Jefferson curls, i think they’re a great movement to strengthen spinal flexion and extension. But most people need to learn better bracing mechanics first :)

Looking forward to trying her workout; don’t think you were too critical! One thing I have noticed about the German language is that it’s VERY specific, unlike English where we have terms like “thingamabob” 😂 She likely speaks & thinks in specificity which might be why she’s using the very specific physiological terminology.

Several years ago I got sucked into Lucy's 3 minute bat wings workout. I did it for a couple weeks and now i have super sleek arms. Nah, I just wasted 3 minutes each day, but I did get smarter!

You know how I would use these 3, 5, 7 or however many minutes workouts? If I stop working out for quite some time and then I want to get back to it, I could do such a workout for a few days and then go back doing whatever it was I was doing prior to my break. They seem less intimidating, I feel less pressure. I don't know if I expressed myself correctly, I hope so. I actually think I am still subscribed to her. You know, just in case 😉

I loved this video! I thought you were fair in your assessment but I also appreciate that you shared your reevaluation thoughts. I have a question... I have a problem with my hands (dupuytrens contracture) so I have weak grip strength as well as pain so I can't hold on to weights, or do planks or push ups. Could you sometime talk about ways to work on arm and shoulder strength in other ways? Are there any other ways? 😊

Do you have access to a cable machine with the ankle attachments? I would imagine you could put them around your wrists instead. I’m also kind of spit balling here and it may be best to check with your physical therapist, as I’ve never worked with someone who can’t use their hands.

I don't belong to a gym so no access to those things. But I've thought about those weights that you strap to your arms, maybe that would work. Also physical therapy is a good idea. I'll look into that. Thx!

Would you ever consider doing a Tara's Body dance workout? She does her videos in French but I think with your dance background you could follow along readily. And her energy is amazingly infectious, and the video filming quality is immaculate. Plus, she chooses music and musical styles that most others don't. The Afro-Brazilian dance ones look particularly awesome to me.

During January i did a bunch of walking workouts at home at some point i get through a lot of YT channels and i didn't realice in that point of time that one of those channel's was the Lucy's girl one... so all of this introduction its just to please ask you to at least look and check out one of the walking workout ones, the misinformation, diet talk, and exercise myths during the videos far to much to be honest, in other topic amazing video Justina! like always

Hello Justina, loved the video. I have a question, I’m looking to buy my first kettlebell and I was wondering how heavy it should be. I’m not a beginner at working out generally, but I’m interested in incorporating kettlebell workouts into my routine. Is a 15 kg kettlebell too heavy? I’m not really sure and would love some guidance. Thanks!
