I really thought we were done with that with recipes. Like that's how they wrote them in the 1600s. With two full pages first, and then "And make the bread like you'd usually make bread [link to bread recipe]." -_-
2 little details I loved DBI: 1) the producers IMMEDIATELY setting the forbidden room on fire (further justifying why they shouldn´t be in there) 😆 2) Jacob curiously nodding along curiously as if this was not also his house and he was seeing this every day 😅
I like how Julia's glasses shine lets her keep her wavy eye from the last costume (probably for the last two months but I'm slow on the uptake, I guess).
julia’s little head shake and happy expression while she holds up the drawfee bowl-ed cereal is SO cute and SO perfect for her energy at that part. and her tshirt is her other portrait design!! love that. makes me want it as a shirt 😂
there is something so primally funny deep within my soul when I see the drooping wilted piece of toast in the shower and then Julia trying to rub the bottom of the jam jar on it... that sight gag feels like it is exactly my sense of humour, you've found the one specific joke for me.
This is why Jacob normally does the intro, no one else actually can without going on side tangents Neither can Jacob, on account of everyone else going on side tangents, but it's the thought that counts
Okay I love this one; the various stages of Julia's morning routine, the fish costume being the one to go 'uh huh', the kitties, the soggy toast... Stellar!
@@juliusroman8616 Because Karina frequently derails his introductions by playfully bringing up irrelevant things and fixating on them. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-knMr_gs29o8.html this one is an example. When she says, "...but we shouldn't linger on that," he gets mad because he just KNOWS that if he were the one introducing the episode, she absolutely would try to linger on it as long as possible!
@@juliusroman8616 because Karina loves antagonising Jacob during his intros but when it's Julia that's hosting she says it's best not to linger. Actual sibling dynamic
not only is this a wonderful clip, your attention to background details continues to add extra humour to everything. including the fish animating when Karina "mhm"s or the rest of them appearing in the background for agreement hums. or Nathan having a stitched together face. wonderful work my guy
I can't decied whoch is funnier: the idea that the fish it just Julia's pajamas, which she also showers in, or the idea that Karina keeps a laptop with neopets open next to her bed, and also sleeps with full socks and shoes
I'm so happy! When the cereal mascots episode dropped and Julia did that intro, I remember thinking "Man DeepBlueInk is gonna love this, I hope he animates Julia's day" Then I saw your early access posts and I've been brimming with excitement since! And of course you have done the whole thing so much justice! 😂
Absolutely splendid as usual, cereal truly is a great way to start the day! (says me who never eats breakfast). Luckily I've yet to wake up without toes, but it's only a matter of time.
of course every bit of this is amazing but highlights for me include Karina "Horse Divorce" Drawfee' wise words and the way you animated the little kitty tails walking into the forbidden room is so cute!!!!
I mean, we've all had those days where the jam just doesn't work. It's a common phenomenon that is a result of letting your cats into the Missile-Access-Center.
Has anyone noticed the little touch that Nathan's face is a soft ball like his new drawing alter ego? Seriously, that was a nice touch. Also, "Me toes!" was animated in such a way that it made the joke funnier.
1) I think Jacob can safely add "Why are you belaboring this!?" to the soundboard. 2) Julia slapping the jam jar against that horrible limp toast is the most relatable-y thwarted I've ever seen a Drawf look, and considering #1 that's saying a good deal.
Every video, I recognize something new in the background or with the designs. Like the stitching on Nathan's face and Julia's fish shirt?? Perfection. The silly little funko pops in Karina's room? Horrid (affectionate). And I don't know how I got this far into my comment without mention the Strange Town Names props!! DBI, you have such a way of incorporating a lot of fun stuff into the backgrounds of your animations that I strive to emulate
Since cereal is on the mind, Karina does sort of feel like the villain of a cereal commercial who would steal something. But then the Good Cereal Mascot (probably Nathan) would say something like, "Kids, you can find me marshmallow toes in me new cereal, for a limited time!" Afterthought: DBI, I am imagining your breakfast cereal commercials are very different over there and this all might sound like nonsense. Sorry!
Oh god, I'm sure everyone else has picked up on it by now but I've only just now realized the insistence of keeping one of Julia's eyes obscured at all times despite her shorter hair. Top tier bit, amazing hill to die on
My favorite part is the look Jacob gives when Karina tries to move it along instead of delay like with him XD Because as we know, Julia will do it herself or "yes, and-" it!
Jacob, this opening: "Say what the episode's about, why are you belaboring this so much?!" Jacob, every opening: "Say what the episode's about, why are you belaboring this so much?!"
i was describing this episode intro to my mum the day it came out and she thought i was going mad. i’ll have to get her to watch this, lol. perfectly captured the vibe
Something I find kinda funny is that originally Julia’s eye being squiggly was because her hair used to cover her eye, but with this redesign you still keep the eye all wiggly Very fun detail for me
It seems like a lot of people doing that. My grandma (a dentist) always insisted we brush our teeth (and wash our face) first thing in the morning before joining the breakfast table. I told her it doesn‘t make sense because I’m literally eating right afterwards and can brush my teeth after I‘ve eaten
@@leanderdato4764 on some level I can see wanting to be rid of the nightime gunk before the new food gunk but also you’re getting toothpaste/mint taste with breakfast. And of course there’s the orange juice 😬
It has something to do with the teeth enamel being weaker after eating and it's better for your teeth to not be weak while getting brushed or something
