Imagine hitting the record button on your iPhone video and experiencing this as a private concert. Anyone that could hold the phone steady and not hoot and holler simply isn’t alive. This guy deserves an award for capturing this magical musical moment for all of us!!!
@@combatRidders Exactly. The highest of the highest caliber of musicians are like that. The middle of the road guys are the ones who tend to be cocky/pretentious. "It's not exclusive, but inclusive, which is the whole spirit of jazz."- Herbie Hancock
I have this thought every few months especially when I listen to some really technical or progressive stuff. It’s then that I weep, then I get over it and practice in vain hopes of reaching this virtuosity...
This may honestly be the greatest version of this tune ever recorded. All I want now is to go back in time and ask Chris Thile to show up and join the jam.
Really dig Mr Hirsch's comping ans chord solo. he can play single note, maybe nt as good as Mr Lage, but his chords are way more involved than his single note. Amazing all the way around. And they are having so much fun...
Completely, utterly amazing! Django lives.... It must just be the guitars, right? Anyone could do this with one of these guitars?? RU-vid, I love you!!
LOL. Julian is brilliant, but honestly, Armand Hirsch totally kept up with him imho.. incredible taste, incredibly sharp, surprising and interesting and just in the flow all the time. Immediately became one of my favs ever along with Julian. Wish Armand posted more videos though.
