Where can I find your daily am/pm skincare routine? @AlexPadgett I have a very sensitive like a baby, dehydrated, tight combination acne prone skin aging 41 that can't tolerate harsh ingredients, even Cetaphil and Cerave/Vanicream are drying for me and I don't like the lotion formula
@@Xoxolexilexx hi hi Mandelic acid is my fave, naturium and stratia both have great products- naturium’s has 12% plus a fruit acid blend and stratia is 10%. I like naturiums better tbh and I have really sensitive skin but it doesn’t bother me!
Susan, PLEASE add the afforadable segement in the future for you reacting to celebs skincare routine this is a great educational learning segement for us consumers
I love Alex! Thank you for introducing me/us to her. She's so awesome! Her accent, her knowledge, she's beautiful obvi! Y'all always have great people on your channel, but this is definitely a favorite video for me! Please have her back for more reactions & videos in general. Her knowledge & energy are just wonderful to watch.
She was so great!! Educational, insightful and just straight to the point. Loved your guest and would like to see her routine and product recommendations
Susan! I love the cosmetic chemists that you have been highlighting for these reaction videos! They bring such interesting information with them! Thanks so much!
Thank you for this! I have actually very fair skin, have always used sunscreen since I was 18 but when I saw Julianne's video I got mortified to see how many expensive stuff she uses and her skin is beautiful so now I know using those products is not necessary and I can get better options at a rational price. 🥰❤
She was probably surprised because I didn’t tell her ahead of time that I was going to mention it 😂😂 but how could I not?!?! I agree she should be proud, her line is incredible
Use to work at a hair salon in Greenwich Village where Julianne gets her hair done years ago and she is a wonderful person. Loved seeing her skincare routine as I’m starting to see fine lines in my mid 30s and always looking for new tips to slow aging and my aging glow up thank you Susan & Dr Alex ❤
I LOVE the Purito Unscented Centella Serum. It was a Game Changer for hydration for my dehydrated oily skin in the summer and also for my dehydrated irritated skin in the winter.
This was excellent! And that Purito serum Alex mentioned really is wonderful, especially for reactive skin! Minnie Driver’s “Go To Bed With Me” is also a fun one that’s with more mature skin.
When my skin barrier was compromised from prescription retin-a, even cetaphil burned my skin. The only thing that helped was baby shampoo and till this day its my ride or die for everything, even makeup removal. Works better than cleansing balms too!
Julienne moore is such an underrated beauty mashallah. Whenever I see her in crazy stupid love, I think that people dont talk abt her as much as jlo or shakira
when I have time to hard binge skincare content your channel is ALWAYS one of the libraries I like to come and read in(so to speak)--and this video was SOOO much fun! I loved getting to hear the information directly from a chemist. And as always you guide the conversation so tastefully. Love!
I really appreciate that Mrs.Moore didn't use any filter until her age! A lots of much more younger star like J.Lo uses filter. So I 've found her really grounded and humble. Thank you for this video that is really helpful.
love her! as i have the same coloring i always am interested in her grooming. she does a chemical peel once a year as i recall .or she used to. i have more yellow in my skin than red, so i love the oranges on my skin but agree that maroon around the eyes is special esp if you have blue or green eyes. this was fun to watch particulary what ALEX suggests that has the same ingredients but CHEAPER. More of this PLEASE. JM is a super actress and human. thanks for this.
I loved seeing this. Alex had so much information and for some reason she reminds me of a darker haired version of Jessica Simpson. I hope you have her back for another collaboration. Julianne Moore is such an incredibly talented and classy person.
Hasn't she sort of double-dipped when she used standalone vitamin c and peptide serums and then applied the environ serum and cream which basically had the same active ingredients? I couldn't see any value-add from the eviron products in her routIne really.
DRMTLGY makes a great neck cream. I don’t know if it’s THAT good but the texture sold me! Feels like a Korean cream no pilling and some ceremides and peptides. Love it
I have a sensitivity to phenoxyethanol too!! I don’t need to avoid it but do try and minimise my use of it - finding products without it is really challenging 😢
@@alexeducatedmess Hi Alex, thanks for your reply! I’m not on TikTok I’m afraid but I do have Instagram & I’m definitely going to check out your content there 🙂
I’ve had a retinol go bad. No7 1%. The color changes and it smells way different. It was also “pure retinol”, when it accidentally got into my eye it caused a inflammation pain around the eye and I thought I needed to go to the ER. Went to doc and got drops, eye is fine 😥
Exactly, this girl has no clue what she is talking about!! Skinceuticals and IS Clinical have the best Vitamin C Serums on the market. They don't disclose their delivery systems and stabilising technology because it's proprietary information 🙄 Ugh she's absolutely clueless!
Also I enjoyed Dr Barbara Sturm products but I definitely think they’re overrated. Rather spend on similar products from a more affordable brand and splurge on some shoes or a spa day with that money I’m saving 😅 😂
What are you doing to address your packaging issues? Is it really that much more to have pumps that function properly? Returning the lotion to Amazon in hopes of getting one that works.
Hi! you mentioned that the Revision neck cream uses a specific complex 16:50min that you explained works for that specific area and why the revision cream would probably be best for that area instead of the whole face. Which complex are you referring to in the ingredient list? Any feedback would be helpful.
First off love the video as usual Personally i think the gold bar is a gimmick thats way overpriced when you can get a vibrating gua sha for very cheap comparitively. The gold adds nothing but price and the bar is so thin i wouldnt expect it to stay cool long enough for depuffing .
Also i would like to add that i already use naturium products and love them but i dont want a vitamin c with retinol because i use tret. And i would also like to stick to l-ascorbic because it has the most proven and tested results and i havnt seen the same efficacy from the other versions for myself
@@TroonChica thank you, but at a shipping cost of 25 gbp and then swedish tax (25% of the Totalt worth) and fees (10gbp) when entering Sweden it is to expensive and the products won't be reasonable prices anymore.. So I need to order from a site within the EU.
Cause rosacea? Rosacea is a chronic inflammation skin condition, a cleanser doesn’t cause it, there is a genetic component. It is not the same as redness. She lost me here.
I'm sorry but this girl has no idea what she is talking about!! Both IS Clinical and Skinceuticals use amazing delivery systems and stabilising technology they just don't disclose what those systems are because it's proprietary duh.. She literally just talked utter nonsense about 2 of the most researched, effective Vitamin C serums on the market!! The worst part is that both of your Vitamin C serums are pushed as alternatives.. This was clearly the plan from the beginning and it's disappointing to say the least 😕
