Beautiful to hear the truth. Long live Palesrine. Ms. Christie is a wonderful story teller. I understand she give poetry readings in various venues in Spain, Portugal and other lovely places. Such a treat, a treasure ❤❤

Very moving, yes, and *the same could be said of Bengal & Punjab whose lands were taken away by Partitioning India (in 1947) to create from scratch a state that'd never existed: Pakistan!* Though with heavy hearts, and massacred by the millions, by the sword of Islam, Bengalis & Punjabis accepted the Partition as a bitter necessity of history. Palestinians (and the Arabs at large) did not (in 1948), dreaming rather of wiping Israel & the Jews off the face of the earth, even though, unlike Pakistan, Israel had had a long millennial historical presence in the Holy Land. No amount of poignant literature can wipe out this fact: that, instead of using the billions given to them in international aid to excel in science and industry, the Palestinians have chosen generation after generation to keep their grievances alive, being consumed in their own visceral hatred of the Hebrews.

This is a distortion of the Oslo Accords,Yasser Arafat's compromised settlement along the 1967 Borders was denied by the assassination ogf PM Yizhak Rabin. And, some 7+ years later PM Ehud Barak & Arafat's deal was thwarted by Israel to accommodate the Jewish illegal Settlers on the West Bank by at least 8% of its area under the 1967 Borders apart from other non-negotiable division on Jerusalem.!

Muslims' guru was a psychopath who commanded them to hate and kill Jews, which is why there has never been peace.
