Tried this recipe 2 days ago. The family loved it. Didn’t last five minutes. Everyone came back for seconds and thirds. Sooo delicious. Going to make another one now. 😋
This was a beautifully down video. I tried the recipe & the end result was delicious but the pastry was very hard to roll out & the filling took almost 1.5 hours to cook!
Maybe the pastry didnt have sufficient butter, or may have something to do wifh the type stove you use, electric or gas; I find they work differently with baking time and also with type of baking dish or pan used. The problem could be any number of things. ex: maybe a mistake in ingredient measurements etc, IDK. But all these are factors that can cause issues in a recipe and how it turns out. Just my experience and views.
