These two adorable babies have brought this 30 year old out of indefinite hiatus! I have always loved ghost/living relationships (I blame Casper for this, lol). So when I kept seeing promo for Julie and the Phantoms all over the internet and noticed a little something, something between a ghost boy and a living girl, I had to check it out. At first, it felt a bit campy and Disney channel-esque. But as I continued to let Netflix move on to the next episodes, I found myself really invested and hardcore shipping Juke. Also, the songs are really great. Unsaid Emily is probably my favorite, mostly because I just started to unexpectedly cry during that episode. This show is way better than I originally thought it would be and I'm really hoping for a season 2! Netflix stop dragging your feet.
Oh and fun fact of how I found this song: I have plans to make a practical magic vid (though the way I upload, who knows if that will ever happen) and was looking for a song for it. So I just decided to search for any song with magic in the title on Spotify (I know, so original. lol). This song popped up and as soon as I listened to it, I knew it was a Juke song. It feels perfect to me, some could say...It was MAGIC...or just some great happenstance.
Either way, I hope you fellow Juke shippers love it!
