I'd say your theories are very solid! I love how the writers are not afraid to redo something in the interest of the fans and making the show as good as possible. We may have been delayed but I think the strike may have been a blessing in disguise because it gave them more time to adjust and tweak a few things. This season will be epic!

I’m predicting a flashback-sequence to Miyagi’s funeral (which would also be easy to do) Imagine Daniel falling apart, during his speech in church, and then having Julie stepping up to help assist him… Better have them tissues ready! 😢😭

Oh I would love that. That would be such a heartwarming experience between them that they could share. I mean we all know that it's pretty much been all but officially confirmed that Julie will appear in S6 & her having an interaction with Daniel would be the best & fighting side by side is completely expected for them to share such a heartwarming moment, while expected, but emotionally speaking unexpected & them being Karate Brother & Sister would be incredible. I also see them visiting Mr. Miyagi's grave at some point (along with Chozen) with Julie placing a Bonsai tree down & the THREE of them bowing together UNITED: All three OG Miyagi Do students, two of which he trained personally & loved as his children united as a family.

@@carlodonn8983 Yeah, that was a part of my thought behind, “it would be easy to do” 🤗 And sadly, Mr. Miyagi would be seen in a coffin, probably with a framed picture of him on top of it. Again, easy and cheap to pull off. I would definitely wanna see a scene of something like that 😭

P.s. they could rewrite Mike's story because they producer's are reading our comments belive it. And if there are theories that are getting close to the writing they would change as well or otherwise could be a problem later. Mike has a secret and I know it's being blackmailed by Terry. That could be a reason but about the house of Julie that is a great point!!😊 she coming back in e.1 makes it more likely that we see 2 characters never interacted on screen before 😮😮 Daniel and Julie of course! I belive it bro. We see a lot of her and that means the temple as well And the cave I think will be training scene in Korea 🇰🇷

Makes sense, two characters who haven’t spent time together are Johnny and Julie. Also I hear a big fight takes place in the beginning imagine Julie vs Johnny or even Julie vs Daniel. Another duel would be Julie and Chozen what if they team up to fight Cobra sensei’s. I can’t wait!!!

Tom Selleck was the first choice to play Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark. But at the time, he was under contract to film Magnum, P.I. so he had to turn down the role in the movie and Harrison Ford stepped in to the title role. However, an actors' strike had stopped production of Magnum, P.I. and Tom Selleck could have done the movie. In the case of Cobra Kai, perhaps this is a reverse case of a strike giving an actor an opportunity to appear that would not have happened if it were not for the strike.

@@watchparty1 The strike was an AFTRA strike. AFTRA = American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. So, I presume it was a strike for only television and radio people. There apparently is a separate union for movie actors. Magnum, P.I. was supposed to start filming in March 1980, but the strike pushed it all the way to December 1980. Raiders of the Lost Ark was filmed from June to October 1980. So, he could have filmed both the movie and then a month or so after filmed Magnum, P.I.

God, I hope you’re right, man!! People can think what they want about the movie Hilary Swank was in, but Julie Pierce/Hilary sure as heck weren’t the problem. This whole thing simply won’t be complete without her. Ps. As lucky as she would be to get on the show, people need to grasp that the show would be even LUCKIER to have HER. Hilary is a 2-times Academy Award Winning Actress, and she’s also a woman who can truly kick ass! Thats a decently strong theory. I had the same thoughts about Hilary regarding her having just given birth. Perhaps they took advantage of the strike and offered her a larger role after. Julie is the main one i want to see return . She was Miyagis other student and a legacy character of miyagi-verse. She deserves to be there. What about Colonel Dugan though? Is is possible he may appear? He's around Kreese age and was in the army too if I recall. I wonder if it's possible that he knows Silver or Kreese?

Well done WP :)! You are the first i think who points the thing out with the house. This could also be the reason why they filmed there, and not the cave. Something else: I know it's always a thing to go against the odds, but what do you think about the possibility either Tory or Devon wont join Miyagi Fang aka Bonsai Eagle or what ever the name will be? It seems to me 99% of the fans of the CK show are sure both Devon and Tory will be members of that Daniel-Johnny-Chozen Dojo. What s your take? Do you think it's possible Devon wont? Or is it even possibe Kreese is able to get Tory first and she again choses him over Robby and the others? Of course i wont like it to be honest. She never was at M-D yet, but Sam also never was at CK yet. And we can be sure Sam wont be CK at any point. But is it also at least possible Tory will never be M-D (or Miyagi Fang aka Bonsai Eagle or what ever the name will be)? Basically the "Bonsai Bada..ss" will never be Cobra Kai. So isnt it possible the "Queen Cobra" will never be Miyagi-Do? Usually the show creator's dont go the most obvious route. And this route is that all of the Valley Kids (including Kyler, Kenny, Devon and maybe even Piper should she come back) will be Team Miyagi Fang.

@@watchparty1 Something else: I usually dont like double posts, but since i dont know if you usually only answer to people who ask you directly, i post the same here what i wrote Melissa: It's about two subjects. One is Kreese and Tory, the other is the main two teeny couples Sam/Miguel and Tory/Robby. Here: Imagine Kreese is able to track Tory down. First she doesnt want to speak with him, but then he tells her following three points: 1) Kreese always wanted the best for Tory (which is true). 2) Tory cant trust the LaRusso (Daniel, Sam, Amada) but also not the Lawrence family (Johnny and Robby). 3) Sam, the "LaRusso girl", like Kreese always calls her, didnt visit Tory at her home because Sam herself wanted it, she only did it because her lover Miguel asked her to do so. How do you think Tory would react to that? Point 1 is hard to deny. Point 2 would be difficult for her to understand or accept, but Kreese could tell her Robby left her in the water park very easy (for a cheap reason), and their romantic relationship isnt so tight as she maybe thinks. While Kreese (as father figure or Sensei, not boyfriend of course :D) himself would never let her down like that. And Point 3 actually would make Tory either angry or disappointed. She would somehow feel betrayed by Sam, since it wasnt her own wish to visit her home, only because of Miguel she did it. PS: I am aware Kreese could never know that Miguel told Sam to visit Tory's home, but he is smart enough to maybe calculate this move. And as more i think about the two main teeny couples, i would guess it this way: Miggy & Sam: Are 99,99999% endgame couple, this "i love you" moment has to mean something now. To seperate them again would be very unrealistic. Robby & Tory: Are most likely endgame couple too, but they had no "i love you" moment yet, and maybe it was a mistake from Tory in the end of S6 to say: "I am not in the mood for that heart felt sh..., maybe you just kiss me". Yes it was funny and direct, but maybe emotionally not deep enough. So contrary to the believe now that both of these couples are definately endgame, i at least cant count out Robby and Tory could both be single in the end of the final Season. Of course thats not likely, infact very unlikely, but it would definatly be a big surprise that almost nobody has on the radar. Cheers

You know what I wonder 😮 if they make Julie the same Julie that was Daniel's first girlfriend in kk1😅 that would be something. But we see kk4 Julie and sure she fights kim. Hope they will go to the temple as well. And unfortunately Daniel wasn't miyagis first student. Because it was Julie's grandfather 😅. P.s the first time to fight each other will be Johnny vs chozen sparring of course and silver vs kreese vs mike as well. But I agree about that Swank theory. They rewrote it for a reason. Or they set up the new kk24 movie by bringing in jacky chan but in e10 at the tournament I think

I'm honestly not interested in seeing julie pierce return. Why? Because season 6 is the last season of cobra kai. What exactly can pierce add to the show other than maybe just being in one or two episodes? If pierce was invested in the sekai takai and being a part of it then they would have brought back her character in season 5. I'm more interested to see what's next for terry silver, I imagine that kreese is going to confront him at some point and i'd like to see a fight between silver and kreese. I don't believe that silver's story arc is done, he probably isn't staying incarcerated with how much money and power he has.

You’ll be proven wrong, buddy. Hilary is the only remaining legacy-character, and they will NOT leave her out (you can bet on it) Besides, most of the others major arcs were more or less done by the end of S5. And they’ll easily be able to flesh out Julie in a season, that is guaranteed to be at_least 2 hours longer than the previous seasons (and most likely more) She’s gonna be there, and she also deserves it, no matter the quality of the movie she was in. She’s still a part of the Miyagi-verse, period.

WATCHPARTY: This was another awesome video. It makes sense to me that Julie would come back as you've said before with Sensei Kim being in Cobra Kai Miyagi Do is going need a female Sensei of their own, plus her coming to the Valley to help Daniel does make sense as she does have a connection to him through Miyagi (Making them Karate brother & Sister). Do you think it's possible that Julie could teach the students how to counter Silvers Quick Silver methods? I mean we all know that she knows how to counter them from watching The Next Karate Kid as I think that Kim's students will know those methods, but they'll know OG methods (the way they were originally taught) & use them against the Miyagi fangs because Silver had to learn those methods from somewhere & I'm betting that he learned them from Master Kim & only named them after himself because tweaked them and made them less dangerous then they actually are in there Original Form.

Your general theory that Hilary Swank would enter the picture after the strike occured was a thought I had as well. While the strike in general sucked, i thought it would give the writers a chance to get Julie in due to her pregnancy. How would she fit in? I didn't worry about those details. I just through it would be cool to have this happen!

Here’s my question how couldn’t Daniel have not known about Julie when Miyagi was staying with them. I’m sure she was at the funeral or aware of his passing. They better do it RIGHT!!!

I’m not sure why but for some reason many fans are against Julie Pierce coming back and I’m not sure why, her and Daniel would definitely know each other especially since back in season 2 Daniel since this is the first time in a while that MiyagiDo has had more than 1 student, Julie would also be a good mentor for Tory and Samantha and Julie can show people Mr Miyagi had an impact on more than just Daniel, hopefully we see Col Dugan come back in season 6 as well

There is no way the studio burns a ton of money to reshoot the entire first episode unless it’s for a completely reworked major plot line or character or addition. It makes too much sense that they have Oscar winner Hillary Swank for more than they had before the strike. I really want her to mentor Sam, Tori, and Devon and, hopefully, be the female sensei in the Sekai Tekai vs Kim Da-Eun.
