@@thepanda5746 not a man but I am an AMAB non binary person who has currently been cast as the understudy for medda larkin in my community theatres production of newsies so I´d say thats pretty cool :)))
Incredibly late reply lol but it looks like they've given her the hat and a longer skirt in a similar style to the original Medda dress. She's already got a costume in her size, so makes sense just to add a few extra bits rather than make another version of the first-cast costume
I thought from the thumbnail that this was going to be from Hello Dolly, and I was very confused as to where anyone would be riffing. Maybe during "Motherhood"?
Weird, Right!? I really want to! I feel like I should but I just don't. I don't hate it. I saw it and enjoyed myself but I walked humming the scenery and choreography. To its' credit most spectacular set I ever saw and the most amazing dancing ever seen on Broadway. I remember when "Phantom" and "Miss Saigon" people oohed and ahhd the set. I didn't get the reaction. Somehow that "Newsies"set went under the radar. It was amaze balls. Perhaps dislike is strong. It was an enjoyable evening in the theatre but I had no desire to listen to the music again. Except for "Seize the Day."
