Oh ok - I think she re-enacted the walking into the procedure part - the results were very good.

Many patients come in looking like Julie. That is pretty good to start with. I think if you look more carefully you will see the benefits from her surgery. But... I agree that this is not dramatic. It may not make for the best before and after of someone who really "needs" treatment. But it does illustrate the nature of maintaining appearance as the aging process ensues. Hello Shelly. Thank you for sharing your question. As you can see in this and other videos, the face and cheeks often looks like a “chipmunk” during the immediate recovery following a facelift. The swelling can temporarily result in some difficulties animating the face. However, this is only temporary and smiling as well as other facial movements resume their normal appearance as the healing progresses. We will be sharing an upcoming story over the next several weeks of a patient who shares her own “selfie” videos every day following her Advanced Facelift. This may better demonstrate how these changes occur. In Julie’s story above, however she smiled before is how she smiles today. Thank you again for your comments.
