Valérie G :Jazz was introduced to Europe ,1917-8, by way of ,1912, G&Cleft Club, Carnegie Hall. Militarily , 15th St. Regimental Jazz Band / 369th. From New York to France. These jazz cats brought a piano with them. They played jazz before / after every battle. These soldiers never lost a battle. France was the 1st to learn jazz from Amerikkk. Furthermore , history has not properly framed the particulars that decisively swung the war in favor of France and allies, against Germany / it's allies. None will ever mention this contribution ? Why!!!! This slowed the German advance that favored the Russian revolution by a 1,000 degrees. In sum : the brothers carried military orders with dispatch / sweep : introduced original culture to France / Europe musically bent towards , invocations / change.
