As a true Hendrix hard core fan and follower since 1967, you really heard him. Covers of Jimi are rarely a good idea, you however are astonishing. Great cover! "Peace Love and Happiness" Jimi Hendrix 1967
Didn't know what to expect, but lord have mercy, I listened 3 times in a roll, unreal fantastic, you sound like Jimi but you also don't, and it's wickedly better than the original, mixing your own version with little Easter eggs from my personal favorite besides this one machine gun! Absolutely genius
9 minutes can be soo short. Great man!! Absolut awesome! Sound, tone, style, picking and some great played notes via teeth and behind. Oh man, truely great! No words!
Wow! im a di hard fan! Seen much live footage! have all the muktiple cd s put out. this guy has Jimi's guitar tone.....Awesome! I give praise to this guy. must take a lotof work to play the ferociosniss jimi played. Bit i feel like im listening to Jimi here and like his addition is llike an extended Jimi. He is a descent singer . hr isnot a 'brother' so not really soul in his voice. hes a white guy. Two Black guys.......major fans of jimi and Soul, blues r and b rock n roll funk they said ...guys told me You dont find too many soulful voices in whites but some have just as much. either way this guy is coolbut there is soul coming thru if going to bring jimi's emotion on guitar. Hate to sound like of racism but lets face it there is such a thing as not having soul in your voice like B.B. King did for instance....but still be a fantastic singer ]pppppp]but this guy prrobably knows that. but carrying the melody the way jjimi sang is a good job done here.i like the way hees bring jimi out in voice. all praise Jimi is proud. its a gift to anyone who likes jimi especially die hards to have a guy like this tribute.
@@RAYGERVATO Yep, Randy does an amazing Jimi tribute. I first saw Randy around '83 (When he could still wear makeup to make his skin darker to look more like Jimi) and also saw him around '95 (W/ Noel Redding on bass).
Really great! Only thing i dont like is the hi hat, its not proper sounding for such a tune, i wanted also a deeper bass sound, otherwise its a great cover, especially guitar touches, and one more thing with all my respect you must try to sing deeper from your soul, your voice is a bit thick try to bring it from way down, keep up the good work guys!!
Now this what I call talent and skill. He must have listened and played every note and technique. Singing a bit thin especially for playing Hendrix but the guitar is unworldly just like Jimi would have music be.
When I see you copy Kats (wannabes) play on both side left & right of the Gittar like Hendrix then I will be impressed fully. Until then & that, that’s just another finally got it figured out what Soul is. Turkey necks in your cheerio’s.
Like so many, I'm REALLY protective of my Jimi (we all have our own Jimi right). This is fantastic. I don't say that lightly ever. I usually cringe at most covers. My friend, you are a devotee with the skills to back it up.
