The Eucerin balm saved me after my pdt treatment on my face and neck. The treatment gave me a severe sunburn and was peeling and even bled in a few areas. The eucerin balm was the only thing that didnt feel like hydrochloric acid on my skin. Even Cera Ve cream burned. Thank god I had it on hand because you recommended it! I'm going to let my dermatologist know about it so she can recommend it to her pdt patients.
I still have old beanies. My 2 year old nephew visited a couple months ago and “adopted” one in the garage… those beanies are worthless, but seeing him carry around that little cat was the sweetest thing. Think I’ll be donating mine to a church or shelter so they can be loved
I just wanted to say thanks for your videos. I work outside as a cart-pusher at Walmart and your videos on sunscreen have been integral for keeping me safe.
The Rohto Mentholatum Sun Play Clear SPF 50 has a blueish tint because it's branded to color correct yellowish and dull skin tone, which gives people a fairer, clearer skin tone. Products like these are common in Asian brands because of the preference for fair skin.
TJ sunscreen is the only sunscreen i've found that makes me look forward to putting on sunscreen. I think it's better than even a lot of the asian sunscreens. Just wish it had more updated filters.
Dr Dray, I wanted to say thank you. My derm treats my rosacea and seb derm but I have you to thank for my rosacea friendly skincare routine. It’s made a huge difference in my life. Thank you SO MUCH.
@@jr-pr9lw Vanicream face wash, Procure Rosacare, Cerave lotion. When my skin was at its worst, it was only Vanicream products. Oh, can’t forget the sunscreen! Cerave tinted spf30 and Colorscience Flex spf 50. Aveeno sensitive spf 50 untinted on days where I don’t care about white cast. I also use Vanicream Z Bar on my forehead and Cerave SA wash on my nose. My face is complicated. LOL
Lands End makes quality bags. We bought a large canvas bag with a zipper top decades ago that we’re still using. You can pack for a weekend in that thing. Baggallini is great too.
Hey Dr. Dray, Would you consider doing a video on Vitamin K2 and the role it plays in skin health and overall health? Getting it from supplements vs diet etc.
This is off topic but can you please do a video to address the topic of sunscreen being effective or not because when shipped from UPS or USPS or FedEx those trucks get super hot and possibly over 120°F degrees; so does that mean that the sunscreen loses it's potency?? Same question with all face products really but mainly most important Sunblock..
LOVE the Trader Joe's sunscreen! I'm just about through my first tube. First sunscreen I've found that works with my skincare and doesn't cause pilling.
I love the TJ’s spf feel/texture. However, it burned my eyes sooooo bad. It actually made my eyes super sensitive to light. I’ll definitely have to use something else around my eyes.
I actually just watched the "Beanie Mania" doco two nights ago. Your Kirby is very cute. I have a Lowly Worm (Richard Scarry) plushy on a book shelf. I left his tag on even though I have no thoughts of ever selling him. I also have a toy of his apple-shaped car. (These are the 'real' toys, not the Mc Donald's ones). I still love the "Busy World" "Busy Town" books and always wished the world was like that...full of anthropomorphic characters of all kinds getting on well, having a sense of purpose and enjoying their lives. There is a meme of someone saying that they told their "shrink" that they (also) wished the world was like these books. My son thoughtfully bought me some of the Golden Book versions. A while back, whilsr visiting a country town, I spotted a toy of the apple car in a vintage store. It was AU$15. I decided I didn't 'need' it. Later that day, I checked my $3 lotto ticket to find out I had won exactly $15! Of course I went back and purchased the apple car. Maybe I should put my Lowly Worm and his apple car on the same shelf as my self-help books?! 🪱🍎📚🥼🛋🕰 👱♀️❤
I LOVE the Kirby !! I just admit I have the beany baby problem ! And I keep the tags on 😫. I’d love to see your beany baby collection and the McDonald’s beany baby’s ! However My main collection is the huggable plush Care Bears 🥰 🐻 ❤️
I was chomping at the bit rushing to buy my kids the latest beanie babies! I think I was more enthusiastic than they were. 🤣 as for Rae Dunn.. it’s at every Goodwill and thrift store out there now! That along with all the signage a la Live Love Laugh.
My obsession for awhile was collecting Starbucks mugs. Not the new ones but the older global icon mugs, from all the places I have been. I got them off of ebay and was hooked on the auctions. DANGEROUS! They were supposed to go up in value too but they are not the cash cow people claimed they would be. I am not a hoarder...I am not a hoarder lol!
Thank you for trying out / testing and explaining so many products. Following you has been an enjoyable education into a world of products (male in my 60s here) and procedures and options that I had had no clue how to decipher.
If you have oily skin, definitely try the TJs sunscreen! I've been using it over the past month and enjoy it just as much as my "holy grail" product, Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Gel. Don't get it in your eyes during application because it will sting (I haven't found that it runs once applied and it sets.)
Still hot and steamy in New Orleans. I purchased a fabulous upf umbrella from Target, brand name Shedrain. I use it every day, as I hate wearing hats. Recovering from Mohs surgery and I don’t want a drop of sun on my face. Thanks doc for all the information you put out there for us. Hope you have a happy week.
I really miss living near a Trader Joe's. I miss their groceries, and I want to try that sunscreen so bad 😩. The Eucerin essential oil balm has been a godsend for my legs after shaving.
Thank you so much for your videos! Could you please do a video for skincare for people starting to love beyond basics (cleanser and moisturizer) and toward serums and other treatments? It can feel overwhelming!
I’m going crazy waiting for that Trader Joe’s spf. My store ran out in July and they said the next time it’ll be in stock is August. I’m waiting for their flyer to try it
Nm. They said they have a new shipment every day but it just sells out really fast, and they don’t limit customers. Just go there early, and don’t wait til afternoon they said lol
Happy Saturday. Kirby is a cutie-pie. I have a habit of “rescuing” stuffies when I’m out shopping. I don’t do it as often as I used to, but if I’m out somewhere and there is a melancholic looking stuffed animal pleading with its eyes for a home, I’m the person who can’t leave without it. Funny enough, I still have three beanie babies. The purple Princess Diana beanie and the white Valentino beanie with the red heart embroidered on its chest. I also have a 2002 Mother’s Day edition. I got that one because I am fond of its pale yellow color. Plus it has a purple satin neck ribbon, along with purple flowers embroidered on its chest. All still have their original tags, too. 🙂
I Love When You Let Us Know What You Like and Don't Like. In Skin Care Products!! Thank You Dr. Dray!! Happy Monday!! Have a Wonderful Day, and Week!! Many Blessings and Love Always!!🙏🌹🕊🙏
I couldn't agree more about the Eucerin products. When I was younger, my allergy shots gave me raised, small bumped rashes on my arms. Eucerin was the only product that helped control that reaction. Do you have a vlog where you explain the order in which to apply face products? I have a whole lineup of products from The Ordinary and do not have a clear instruction/routine of when to use the Peel, the hyaluronic serum, the Virgin Marula oil to thin out the peel, the resveratrol and ferulic acid etc... ? Their website just explains the products but not in which order to use them.
After the rave of the Trader Joe's sunscreen, my local TJ didn't have any up until August 2nd! I finally got my hands on it and bought 2. I wanted to try it first before I bought a bunch. However, I quickly regretted not getting more and now they are out! I loved it and my husband likes it too! With both of us using it every day, we'll definitely need more. So I'll be calling TJ every morning just to check haha!
Haven’t watched in a while tbh but wanted to say I have been using peach slices products and absolutely love them !!! They even have some new snail mucin products out now . Love ya hope all is well.
I'm in E. TN, this summer has been very hot for this area. We had heat indexes around 106 or 107 off and on for a couple of weeks! Our saving grace was low humidity those 2 weeks. We've gotten rain, for over a week, which is nice! Thanks for sharing your July results. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Stay safe and healthy!
109 (heat index) here today. Still trying to find the TJ's sunscreen. Love Supergoop but also love the tinted Skinceuticals sunscreen you recommended. Beanie baby craze - just downsized. Had two enormous boxes of beanies! My kids are your age and didn't want them anymore! We gave them to a local shelter, hopefully the children will enjoy.
Beanie Babies were the bees knees back in the day, yep. I don’t recall ever taking a tag off of one of them, probably for the same reason lol. I remember in particular owning the Princess Diana 1997 one which was a beautiful deep purple bear with a white rose on it. Never knew what happened to it. And yes McDonald’s had the coolest toys! They were fun to collect. When Pokémon first became popular in the late 90’s, Burger King had these Pokémon balls with gold cards in them. When I finally got my hands on one, I remember thinking it was the coolest thing in the entire world lol. Anyone remember those?
A collection of Mc Donald's Mini Beanie Babies could be used as ornaments on a themed Halloween tree. Spray paint a tree branch black and display them to celebrate the horror of getting caught up in the hype! 👱♀️❤
Liked the Trader Joe's sunscreen! But now that it went viral - after a national publication printed a headline about it selling out - I can't find it! One good thing they pointed out in article was that it's led to more young people using sunscreen. Yay! But you gave me the heads up first, Dr. Dray! Thanks for all the time you put into these videos - super helpful!
I noticed the other day that all my creams and lotions, etc. have a white jar with a red lid; They're all Eucerin. I didn't do this on purpose. It just filtered out that way over time. I even use their Q10 face cream (which doesn't have a red lid?) I just keep buying what works.
Ok Dr dray, not only am i paranoid over removing the tags i have a hard problem getting rid of boxes that my appliances come in. I think it stems to xbox having more value if you keep the box but it took me months to get rid of the box my blender came in lol.
I just started using Eucerin Intensive Repair Essential Balm on my face. It is the ONLY moisturizer I could find that gave instant extraordinary hydration. I’m in my late 60s. Just recently my skin suddenly turned very dry. Absolutely nothing worked. The CeraVe night cream made it better. But this Eucerin took it to a whole new level. Unfortunately, it looks like they’re discontinuing it. The other thing I found is that it claims to give life to ashy skin. And it does! No idea how, but skin just looks more alive. No idea what I’m gonna do when it’s no longer in the stores.
Dr Dray, I know that Exercise, Diet/Nutrition and Sleep are all very important for a healthy body and skin health. Which of these would you put as number one, two and three. Like you have said, you can cover your face with a million products, but if your are falling apart inside, then nothing on the outside is going to help.
I so look fwd to these end of month videos. I remember the Beanie Babur craze. I worked at the mall and there would always be a super long line to the Hallmark when they released new ones. Have a wonderful day.
We have been lucky in NE Arizona. Our monsoon season helps but today it probably won't rain and it is only in the 80's and cools down to the 60's at night. Not bad. Glad I am not on the East Coast right now. Summers in PA were brutal.
Hey doc. I wear a cpap machine and can't use products with petroleum because it can break down the materials on my mask. Can you do a short on some good recommendations for petroleum free moisturizers? I'm having trouble narrowing down some good ones that are also fragrance free. I'd really appreciate your time!
I have super smash bros on the Nintendo Switch, and Kirby swallows opponents and has their abilities for a short while (and is dressed as them). It’s kind of adorable lol
I agree with the first aid beauty, about a year ago after using their moisturiser consistenly it suddenly started to sting! I wasnt sure if it was my skin becoming more sensitive or if they reformulated but i stay away from them now
Thank you Dr Dray for always uploading and all the work you do! I really look forward to watching/listening to ur videos i work as a janitor and when i have a hard day you make it better thank you!
I still have my Beanie Babies and mini ones too.... It was fun collecting them ..I guess certain ones can be worth some money..but not millions...😜 I was thinking maybe the Eucerin would be good for Psoriasis ????
