There was a moment in time boxycharm was doing so good almost every box at least had 2-3 products I was happy with, I thought the merge and price increase was going to mean better items but I feel most months they’re just ok. Hope they improve 🥺

For a long time, as the price of Chanel increased, I no longer thought I could afford it. I think I'll be happy that I have the kislux as my travel bag that I don't have to take care of. By the way, I'm sure no one will have a hard time telling the difference. Thanks for the comparison.

I always think Hawaiian hula girl vibe when I see you ♡ I love it. I really hope they didn't send refreshments bags to paying ipsy bag subscribers. I would be MAD. The bag was $10.. no fee, tax or shipping. Its like $17 now. I think more.. for samples most always. A lot of people that hold onto it are in it for the cute bag. If they cant offer that than an instant $3 discount for a free $3 add on should be applied to each at the very least. I have dry skin also. I hope the volition works for me. The African botanics is a very high end brand but it would dry me out. Ill try to sell it. I should have chosen the Ole Henriksen.

they sent the refreshments bag... i was so disappointed bc i resubscribed this month for my birthday, and i was hoping for a cool bag. they already sent the refreshments bag last july!! so that was a bit disappointing. but i did like all the items this time.

Hello Meli! I really wish I would’ve skipped. I have been for months. Took a chance for July, and other than the ole eye cream and my add on, I am so bummed:( after I receive this month I will be permanently cancelling. It just doesn’t appeal to me anymore. The choices are lackluster. Tfs. Love and happiness to all❤🌈

I think they need to switch it up immediately, there seems to be a majority of consumers who aren’t happy. I hear so many being more happy with add ons then their actual box ☹️

If you ask me Ipsy gets ya all psyched out about the good stuff But when it comes time for your choices you don’t get any of the good stuff But it’s for sure in there add ons Thats so you spend spend spend They plan it all that way

My choices were meh, too. The products that made me say yes were on the add-on portion. I'm at a crossroads with Ipsy on that because it keeps happening month after moth like that choice sucks but add-on are good.

I’m also getting that same retinol serum along with a danessa myricks powder as my power picks. For my choice I picked the fenty perfume, refreshments lotion & a brush set because NOTHING looked interesting except the fenty perfume (I looove getting perfumes in my boxycharm I got one last month too 🤭) so those other items are going in the back stock 🤣🤣 I figured my mom could use the lotion & the brushes could be a gift

I get it especially because serum lasts you a good while, it’s good to take a break and use what you have my mom cancelled hers a few yrs back and still hasn’t gotten thru all the products 🙈

Your lashes look amazing! What do you have on? My paid box was horrible...they chose the Laura Geller palette and Goldfadden Md night cream for me and I chose brands I never heard of like Wingme Eye Primer and Alo Yoga face mask and All Yoga body lotion. Gone are the old make-up boxes from Boxy Charm...miss what they did 2 and 3 years ago.

Yes the powder would have been good, I’ve been surprised that everyone says the fenty smells bad 🙈 I’ve heard such great things about her cream and I love her body scrub, reason i thought the perfume was going to be good but based on peoples reactions it seems to be the opposite 🙈🙊

@MeliRodriguez all of the above lol...the price is great for the products in the box but there's always only one or two that I'm genuinely excited about and I have enough makeup to last a lifetime and skincare to last at least a few years

Thanks for sharing... I was going to cancel this month then I saw the powder,the perfume,lys lipstick and a couple other things I was excited about so I got it and now I wish I would have cancelled I didn't get any of those and choices were awful I didn't really want anything I winded up getting a bronzer,the eyeshadow palette,the serum u got,and I forgot the rest 😢. I'm debating on skipping or cancelling next month only thing is August is my birthday and I have fomo lol but I may do it anyway because I keep saying I'm going to cancel then see something I really like in spoilers so I get it then wind up not getting anything good for a few months now and I've been getting ipsy and boxy since 2018-2019 something like that so maybe I need a break anyway

That sucks, was hoping most of you would have gotten those good items, sometimes it’s good to take a break and focus on what you have. Maybe instead of the box skip it and treat yourself to an item you want from ulta or Sephora 🥰 hope you have a great bday in August ☺️
