We don't have to answer your questions officer. But as a civil servant, you are required to answer to the people that pay your salary.

Cops are trained to generate revenue even if they play on every word you say to your demise. They're evil. I don't have friends that talk to me like that and if a cop became my neighbor, I'd move. They're trained to be sociopathic.

That didn't start well. (for you anyway) Georgia is a "stop and identify" state, and by not giving him your name you can LEGALLY BE HELD until they are able to identify you. Yes, you can REFUSE to give them your name, but they can DETAIN YOU until they get it. You can also BE ARRESTED for refusing. Don't confuse that with giving them your ID, that's a totally different standard. 1 Point Police - 0 Points You Police are NOT required to tell you the reason why you're detained. If you're being ARRESTED that's a different story. The standards are considerably less for a temporary detainment than arrest, but if they tell you that you are being ARRESTED, they have to tell you what for. 2 Points Police - 0 Points You You only THINK you know your rights, and from what I saw here, NONE were violated. Sorry.....

Your ignorant and your wrong Mr. Bootlicker. There are no stop and ID states in America. You have to be lawfully arrested to ID. To not ID after arrested is a secondary charge. Do some research.

In order to identify anyone in any state the cop must be able to articulate a crime that the cop suspects you of. They are NOT allowed just to walk up to you and demand your name. TOM (The Orange Moron) has not quite turned this country in to Nazi Germany yet. But he is sure trying with a lot of help from the Supreme Court.

There is no stop and ID state. Every state requires that there be an articulable reason for the stop. 0 points you.

@@billysmith8261 In June 2004, the Supreme Court ruled that a suspect had been lawfully arrested and prosecuted for refusing to give his name during a police stop. In Hiibel v. Sixth Judicial District Court of Nevada, 542 U.S. 177 (2004), the Court reasoned that *_a state statute_* can require a suspect to disclose his or her name in the course of a brief stop, if the detention was based on reasonable suspicion of a crime. Therefore, if state law requires identifying yourself to an officer, refusing to answer a request for one’s name during a stop could lead to an arrest. You MIGHT want to take note that he STARTS the video AFTER the originating point of the stop, and ENDS IT before the officer articulates that reason. That "reason" can be something as simple as "you match the description" or even *_SIMPLE LOITERING,_* but the video CONVENIENTLY leaves this out. Oh and BTW, Georgia HAS stop and identify statutes. *_Georgia Code Title 16._* (b) Among the circumstances which may be considered in determining whether alarm is warranted is the fact that the person takes flight upon the appearance of a law enforcement officer, *_>>> refuses to identify himself,

@@mikeh8416 Thank you for agreeing with me. "IF THE STOP WAS BASED ON A REASOABLE SUSPICION OF A CRIME". That is exactly what I said. They can not just walk up to you and demand your ID unless you are driving a vehicle or they have reasonable suspicion of a crime.
