@@24juan68 Sorry John but the medical industry has been corrupt for a very long time. I was in Chronic Kidney Disease myself and was hospitalized with a GFR of 41. I'm telling you the truth is you simply do a RU-vid Search for CKD and you'll hear all kinds of people saying their GFRs and how bad they can get. But the GFR is meant to be a % of how much you kidneys are still working so if you have a GFR of 30% that means you have only 1/3 of your kidneys still working. As far as the diet You can try doing what they say and eating a rabbit diet of only vegetables but even the American Kidney Foundation lies about what is a healthy diet for your kidneys. But if you also search CKD and carnivore diet you'll read amazing results of people recovering from even stage 5 which is when they were on Dialysis by simply eating meat. But most importantly you absolutely must eat a zero carbohydrate diet, No Grains, No Breads< No sugars, No pasta etc....I have been where you are and now have a GFR or 77% since starting this lifestyle, and I've never felt better lost 100 lbs down from 265 I'm 6'1" and 65 years old.
