@@CalmDownJack it’s not a karaoke stock if you look at the notes as if you’re looking at a musical score, you have three-quarter notes. DB and A first-quarter second quarter third-quarter first and second quarter tied together, which means they get played together as if one note. Election day falls in the third quarter From what I’ve seen the people running game stop are majority conservative. A few check out the emojis after that, then it kinda reads his follows: Third-quarter a grade earnings election day celebration, followed by the burning down of corrupt institutions, an explosive market, and a party for the little guy

Long story short if you place the quarter notes on the flag in order on a musical score, you’ll get Q1: D Q2: B Q3: A There’s not very many things that are more American than voting. Or at least for people in RC &RK generation who grew up believing in American pride and the virtues behind the American dream. November 5th falls in the middle of the 3rd quarter. My expectation is that if Trump is elected, the markets will bounce straight up. Just like they did last time in 2016.

Just difficult to see how supporting the party of deregulation will somehow benefit those who believe the naked short theory. Individual feelings aside. Also hard to trust the judgement of someone who posts a divisive tweet ya know?

Do you think gme is over shorted and shorts will only close position by force? Do you think rolling back the Dodd-Frank act in his previous term is good for investors?

@@G36Kaers if you dont know the board plan then you cant make quick judgement on board members tweets and also consider even so people are entitle to their own political view even if they are CEO. Does it affect it? Sure but making a quick judgement on how affects it is an emotional response rather than a finance point of view assestment. Thats my opinion. I like the stock

@@sonyboybluespower I am not trying to make a quick judgement hence the questions to better understand other peoples perspectives. Lots of talk against CAT, sec funding and banking restrictions which in theory would apply less pressure to shorts and harm enforcement. If we think shorts wont closed unless forced, less enforcement and funding seems like a bad thing. Do you agree/disagree with this statement and why/why not if you dont mind.

Hey there! Great line of thought, a few of my own below: -wrt regulation, it’s important to be specific. Trump from what I understand, didn’t change much about Dodd Frank as it pertains to this specific issue. -My opinion is that regulation is very difficult to nail down. Too much stifles growth, too little permits excessive loopholes. I believe participants will continue to look for and exploit loopholes. I would however like to see much firmer enforcement of rules to truly penalize those manipulating the system. -for your last point, it includes a lot of speculation of future actions of very many participants. To offer a counter example perhaps cohen believes by supporting him he might be able to gain an audience and his support in reforming the issue vs the current state we’re in. Or, to your point, deregulation could broaden and make it worse. Point is, we simply don’t know. What’s important, is that the President, whoever it is, isn’t the sole decision maker wrt market conditions like this and there are a lot of things that can be done. If someone really wants to put in the effort to drive reform, the path is there - it’s just extremely arduous.

@@OutlierTrading Fairly balanced, definitely agree we dont know. It just gives me a pause. It seems certain people in congress are against the SECs CAT system and the SECs funding in general, which is not a good thing for transparency/enforcement in markets and therefore gme. The roll backs in 2018 (?) seemed to reduce capital requirements for certain banking institutions (meaning any pressure from underwater positions would be eased) by the way of stress tests, higher capital thresholds and liquidity requirements (which also doesnt seem like a good thing for gme and played a role in SVB blowup last year - which then gave way to more liquidity for banking institutions ie a non bailout bailout). Now I dont think that the other side of the aisle is necessarily going to champion for transparency but it seems the overwhelming support is from a particular group within congress. Support for less transparency, lax enforcement and looser capital requirements for the institutions that have made erroneous bets against gamestop. Maybe RC is trying to get a foot in the door, its just he garnered a lot of goodwill from shareholders about being apolitical (in regards to himself and companies in general) so this definitely breeds mistrust and hesitation. Having a CEO that is either a hypocrite or makes comments without reading the room of the very people who funded the companies turnaround seems (seems) like a bad move. Still going to trade the chart (which looks good as of now) but I would be lying if I didnt question the head on his shoulders after a move that could really have just not been made and clearly many shareholders have taken an issue with.
