Thanks for stopping by!
This is like the showoff of jump rope, atleast for the viewers. Its like a backflip in parkour. Not the most complicated once you get the hang of it, but it can look really good.
This is in no way the only way to break the move down, but this is how i did it myself.
I got alot of help from @jumprope.coach.chris (Instagram) or Coach Chris as we call him, along with Nate.kg
Hope this helped some of you and if you got any tricks, moves or anything please let me know. This is just the start of the journey :)

I’ve been trying to learn this release for almost 2 months now. Its frustrating. Everyone makes it look so simple and I’ve watched every tutorial on RU-vid and still have not progressed. I saved your video to study it. Yours looks better than anything else I’ve seen.

I don’t know if you check these comments but I’m still going to ask a stupid question. The neon green Rushathletics Moneyrope, do you tie those knots on the rope or does it come that way?

I tie the knots myself, it just comes as a 10ft rope so I shorten it abit (roughly take away 2ft and then add a knot on each side ) Not a stupid question at all!

Hi.. What do you recommend the distance between the last bead and the handle..

That's all personal preference, jus make sure you have atleast 2cm/1 inch or so as a minimum to let the rope rotate freely. I prefer to take away 10-12 beads. But just play around with it and you will feel the difference

Thanks for this! I have an issue - during the 'bell' step, when I spin my rope, it forms two bells. Is the issue my spinning or is it my rope length (too long)?

Go slower, you're forcing the rope too fast around so it makes two arches 😊

Very well explained. You wouldn’t need to watch another release tutorial. Just study this. And nice work on using different ropes! It’s not the rope that’s the issue! Just put the work in

Hey Marius, Do you know if having knots in your rope affect the release and catch in any way? Does it make it harder for example? Drit bra tutorial forresten :)

In theory it changes the overall weight difference of the rope during the release. But to be honest, its not gonna make or break your release. Just use knots if you want to! Tusen takk 😁

Great tutorial! This has been the most helpful one. Question: I have a beaded rope like yours. When I spin the rope, the beads end up all on one side. Should I reset the beads to the middle of the rope every time or does it not affect the rope? Thanks again!

Thank you so much Colin! Glad It was useful! Also when the beads move to the other side, just keep jumping. It will balance itself out, it actually helps you into the harder moves because the weight is already on one side so you will get even more "pop" when going into the moves. Example would be triple under release. Not sure if that made sense haha but if it didn't let me know and I'll rewrite it

@@MariusAmund Dude! I finally got it. Literally the next day after watching your video I started consistently catching the release. Initially I was doing the 'wrist pop' method with poor results, but as soon as I switched to the 'Toss' method, I started nailing it! Thanks again! Would love to see more tutorials like this. EDIT: I just realized your the same Marius I follow on IG!
