Jump Start Your Early Game | Sepermeru Chest Locations In Conan Exiles 

You don't have to go to Sepermeru to get loot like this. You can get it at the start of the game to the right of the sentinels. On your map the chest is under water located at the top left of J - 4. When on the shore line or in the water a ghost will appear swimming in the water then will get shot by a cross bowmen. When he hits the bottom the chest will raise up. You can farm this chest many times and get most of the same things you find in Sepermeru. Most of the loot will change but you will always get thick leather and steel bars while everything else will change each time.

nice tip once again 👍 side note to new players: the hostiles in the city is all melee so incase you get aggro you can loose it with running abit away and climb up a building, since they cant climb and wont stick around till you get down for long so you will be in the clear once again. ❤

I see seven missed chests: On top of the low section at the bar where you find Conan are two more boxes. If you climb down on the south side where you said the final chest was located there is a small cave with two more chests. Where you actually came down by the two cooks there's one chest on the top of the house just north-west of them, There's also one under the water just south of them. There is also a chest on the thrall wheel in the prison (from where you are at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1129">18:49</a> run north west to the nearest "sun" symbol). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Actually, make that eight missed chests. At <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1560">26:00</a> you just ran past a house on the left on top of which is another chest. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ok, wow, I should have checked more thouroughly. I think you have missed another two chests. At <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1353">22:33</a>, turn around 180 degrees and go down and a bit north and you'll find a chest lower down on the same group of houses. At <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1416">23:36</a> you missed the chest on the ledge below and to the right. Anyhow...on such early levels you will definitely be over-encumbered before you have got a quarter of the way around those chests ;)

It's safe to go through the southern most entrance to the city. No aggro except west of the blue map marker, across the water from the 2 cooks by the snake dance ghosts. Also, right at the blue map marker and a little north of the marker. Oh. The little island with the cook on it will also spawn the Lone Fisherman box who will also aggro. Everywhere else is pretty safe unless a monster happens to attack a guard. Then the guards near the monster will aggro on the player if they are close by. Don't know why but it happens. Somebody already mentioned the chests over in the temple and prison areas. There's also a wooden chest in the water by the South entrance. It's by a pier with a sitting fighter. Next to the grounded boat. Keep up the good work. I learn a lot from you as well as others on RU-vid. Thanks!

I make camp there and run it everytime I log in on looking for rare thralls and checking the chests as a single run. Good call on telling everyone the only way I ever start. It's super good information. And will help a lot of. People that listen too it, usually in my. Way up I hit. Up the noble cave for its brimstone.

When I started playing, I headed to Sefermeru pretty much straight away before watching any tuturials because a "friendly" NPC city seemed the logical place to go. Except for some Plunderers and other outlaws, the locals are usually neutral to you, though if they happen to be fighting a rhino or scorpion when you enter the city, they're hostile to everything, even you, even if you're an innocent bystander.

Conan exiles is still my favorite survival game. I play it single player. Love your tips and tricks firespark! It’s helped me in my game! 😊

3 years later and this is still a good videos for new people, i still watch it for background noise while playing lol...don't forget to get the truncheon from the cellar below the bar, easy kill for good ko weapon

One thing when you run there as a low level, craft a fiber bedroll out of twine/branches and fiber so if you end up dead by bandits you can spawn close by

Tbh there are an awful lot of chests that you missed in this video that you can actually collect on your way around that add to the grand total that newer players can get, even at lvl 60 I still periodically collect these as there is an awful lot of steel that helps with building etc. Some examples are the chest in the water next to chest 1 and chest 2, it’s hidden beneath a rock in the water, as well as 3 chests underneath chest 3 which is in another hollow in the middle of chest 3, the chest in the prison can help too, and there is a couple underwater next to the group of prowlers in the lagoon near conan’s pub that has gold and other stuff, frankly I think i am missing a fair few that can help new players. Honestly there are around 20 chests if not more around sepumaru that really help in regards to setting up for late game stuff. And yes your are right there are loads of useful items that help later in developing your items etc. Good video but incomplete. I recommend fully exploring sepumaru again and setting up a newer video with regards to this newer info. I’m guessing that some and maybe all of these chests were not there during the time you made this video perhaps it’s time for an update.? Love your videos they are usually great and full of tips but happy to help add to your guide

just got into this game not to long ago. i like it. its like pokemon with humans. gotta catch em all!

I started playing 2 weeks ago and just hit level 40 at 90 hours. Originally I ran straight to Sepermeru and built a base on the edge of the city. I'm using the build anywhere mod so i've got stairs and bridges set up through the city. The chests have helped big time but I came here to watch your video just to make sure I got them all.

Also, be certain to grab the waterskin at the start. You resetting it shan't be there, a new character it shall be. Always grab eggs along the way. There are many nests along the way in starter.

I found 27 chests in Sepermeru so far. 3 of them are gold/silver. Not even 1 is in problematic area. 3 can aggro plunders but you are safe and walk away on the other side where they cant go after you. Prison area is not aggro. If slavemasters do that then someone before you attacked someone there and aggro remained until u arrived. In chests can be found hardened steel tools and also t3 upgrades, steel truncheon. If u run in 2 Unnamed city and get legendary repair kit you can get great upgraded pick or truncheon before lvl 20 (or even before). And this is huge with vanilla rates (everything x1).

Nice vid! Some points if you dont mind :) 1. You could just pick up water skin in starting area and fill at river crossing which reduce worry for drink later for long run. 2. chest spawn locations seem to change from server to server. Done multiple chest runs on my public server and locations dont match up with any video I've seen on youtube. They seem to be in general area of other vids but exact locations differ (maybe adjacent building or wooden chest instead of metal chest or one chest instead of two etc.). 3. Regarding city npcs. The thugish looking npcs tend to be hostile. (Bandit leader, plunderer, prowler etc) They usually in groups standing near buildings looking like they trying to break in. Visually they usually look like they wear medium leather armor. I think there are about 3 groups throughout the city. The neutral npcs WILL aggro eachother if you show aggression to one and there are others in the vicinity. And they will stay hostile next time you come back also. In order to stop them from attacking you and potentially aggroing the rest of the city you will need to kite them somewhere out of site/range and kill them to force neutral respawn again. Dont just run away from them as you will cause a chain reaction of hostile npcs making your future trips difficult. Basically, as long as you avoid the bandit groups then no other npc in the city should be hostile towards you unless you make the first move. 4. Chest reset might also differ. The ones in your vid reset pretty quick actually. I typically have to wait quite a while for reset after doing 15+ chest loop. And it does take quite a while do I'm thinking that server spawn duration settings obviously plays a part here also. One thing to bear in mind if you on public server is also you might be unlucky with loot as other players might be on chest run also.

In the city where you first suggested a drink near one of the piers with someone sitting on it, the one with the broken boat, there is a wooden chest in the water next to that boat. Also when you are in the city and you jumped in the water to go swimming you missed a chest. If you duck under the water there is a chest right there where you entered

There's a Sealed Waterskin siting on a stone with a note close to where you spawn in the game. This make the journey a lot easier.

bro...this run is still great for a brand new character!! The path is great and the loot is amazing for my lvl 8 character. Only variations I had were I put down a bed roll, made a camp fire and killed a couple the bunnies for the food.

Getting there seems to be more effort than it should be. You can just follow the river, run through the dafari camp at the end and climb up. Before the dafari camp there's also a road upwards that's also much easier. You can simply run that way and run at the west side of the City and you are immediately at Seppemeru. Trust me I had to run that route a few times :D

Wanted to add to this round about you came up with. In keeping with the stay away from anything idea. Where the bandits are near the sole alcemist tending the braizer...jump into the water (you will recognize it by the one thing that is kneeling on the wood dock. Start by looking under this dock. You should find the bandits treasure. Then swim toward the larger opening. To the end of that wood dock. Look down before the stairs. (The water is shallow here but you can't be attacked) there is another chest here with goodies for early game PC's. If you add this to the loop you will hold and extra stuff. 😁 Hope this helps ppl

It may be an older video, but something that baffles me is that an experienced player drains their stamina all the way like we see. Your stamina regens much more faster if you don't use it all up. If the idea is to jumpstart your game, that's a principle you should get comfortable with as soon as you can as it can mean life over death in a pinch. Also, as someone pointed out: free waterskin at the starting area. Don't leave without it. It still clings to my belt 50 levels in.

You missed a few chests. There's one on the ground behind that triple snake thing with the priests standing around it. And there's two hidden in an alcove down a short alley inside that huge tower of buildings in the center of the city. Still, thanks for the video! You knew about some that I didn't know about :-)

Hitting the shellback hollow cave is super easy and great loot in the back. For sure something you want to hit late game too. I always do it real quick while harvesting resources. In and out on level one stamina too. Just don’t stop running till you hit the back and then jump in the water if anything is on your tail. Nothing ever follows that deep in those. Climb the back part and behind the water fall you will find good loot and in the middle part you can start your sorcery too.

Literally just ran over to this camp to do this for more steel bars, such an amazing thing lol

I just tried this loop and it worked pretty good.. just 1 thing i noticed when i ran it.. there was an an other chest you missed. just betwin the number 6 and number 13 chest that you picked up there is an other.. on the same building section as number 6

Let that be a lesson to the people of Sepermaru. If you see a low-level walking around, beat they azz. They'll be back to end or capture you shortly.

One note for new people you don't always start at the same location in the desert sometimes your close to that side of the map sometimes your far from it.

Great vid. But there's also a small cave behind the buildings that are build up against the small mountain in the city. This cave contains 3 chests.

Ta very muchly for this! Just getting back in to Conan after a long break (I bought it in early access and stopped pre release) and this sort of things helps out massively. I just did a test run on a local session and actually got star metal ore from a couple of the chests. Definite score early on :)

I know this is a year later, but there are two more on that last Island building. They're about mid way up the south side, tucked in a little cave

Two comments . . . . FIRST, there are TWO dangerous neighborhoods where you will be attacked. They have a Bandit Leader, Plunderers, Prowlers, and Thugs. They will be dressed in light, medium, and heavy armor, not the Semperu silk armor. Everyone else will ignore you UNLESS you attack someone. Hit points for tier 1, 2, and 3 are 3000, 4500, and 5250 now. The agro range has been expanded too, so its common to have 2, 3, or 4 static thralls attack you if you initiate hostilities. The EXCEPTION to this is the Lone Fisherman T4 cook that randomly appears on the little island behind Conan's Bar. He or she (comes in both persuasions) will attack and overwhelm a low level character without any provocation. SECOND, you can walk through the gates and not climb the walls but its good practice. Be wary when near the thug neighborhood west of Conan's Bar though, if the bandits chase you, everyone else will join in. Firespark, thank you for your vids! The are very helpful! TY TY TY! For the longest time, I always thought the lower your level was, the large the agro radius of hostile NPCs are to you. That means, I assumed I was far more likely to get jumped by a deadly creature or person just for being low level while a higher level player could get much closer without attracting an attack.

Oh btw if you climb up the rocks on the left of the camp in front of the remnant you can go all the way to the temple up and over to the otherside then left to sep.

Just did my first run of Sepermeru, since it was updated and managed to find 20 chests. It is a pretty good strategy early game, but things could get tricky on highly populated servers.

By the time you've reached the city you should have leveled up enough to learn how to make a bedroll, and you've been gathering plant fiber so you have the raw material you need to make one. Before you start doing dangerous stuff like climbing, set a bedroll down so if you die you don't have to run clear across the map again.

Would you believe you forgot 14 more chest (5 large and 9 small) also for all players doing this run.. please empty the whole chest and drop the stuff afterward.

Just past the island with the cook on it there's an entrance to a cove that has 1 of the gangs of Thugs\Prowlers that will insta-aggro... but if you swim in there under water, there's a chest just on the right by the entrance that normally has good loot, then one a bit further in under the jetty... stay submerged and you won't get aggro'd... swim back out the cove entrance and jump up on the first rock to your left... climb up the rock on the right hand side so you come up behind the building there and turn right then jump across to the next lump... scale that rock then the wall in front of you and shimmy left on to the top of the low building attached to it, run round the tall bit to the left and jump down a level and there's another chest there... both this one, and the one under the pier give gold and silver either coins or bars... then just climb up and over to the back of the buildings and jump back in the water... There's also a couple of wooden chests on top of the right hand side of Conan's Inn when you face the front... wooden but the loot isn't too bad, especially if you add it tot he run around the Waterside\Temple Districts... I have a base up to the back of the large connected lake to the Waterside... I do the run around Temple\Waterside to farm the Armourer's Bench at the top of Temple to get Named Armourers... it the one spot in Semp they will exclusively spawn Armourers and not other types of Thrall... it's above the spot on Temple where the Anvil is - that spot now only seems to spawn Blacksmiths Exclusively, same as the 2 spots back towards the Set temple from the Armourer Spawn, that also only seems to spawn Blacksmiths now too...

am I the only one perplexed that you did not pick up the free waterskin on the spawn path right when you start? It's usually about 2/3rds full as well and you can fill it when you hit the water

Had a good first run with this, even found a couple of extra chests on the way, found even a longsword in one ofe them.

I walked everywhere without aggroing anybody, I did get a warning from the guys guarding the prison, though. Only time I got attacked there was because I bumped a guy while on my horse which is an attack even at low speed. I think they should fix that so you have to be at full gallop or sprinting to deal damage from horse impact.

Gotta admit...I tried this. My current character is Level 36, but I am not a "Climber" - never have been. As such, here is what I can say about this route - to a Newb, it is deadly. I took enough fall damage to kill a lesser level character (it was good that I had Healing Wraps with me!), I also aggro'd (twice) the pacing guy, who attempted to kill me, lol. Also, at Level 36, none of what you get in the chests is worth the trouble, I didn't get one piece of armor that was better than what I had and I got Zero Tools. FireSpark81, not saying you are wrong - I just question how a Level 1 Newb could manage this! Your climbing skills (particularly in getting safely DOWN from high places) are second to none.

ATTENTION you can still pick up 3 more chests in the path. There is one behind the alter that he walked by. And there is 2 more in the mountain by the very last chest. Jump off the from of the tower so you are looking at the gate and go to the left side and climb up till you reach rock. Then they will be tucked away in the mountain

You never got the 2 wooden chests on top of the bar where Conan is. They are located across the road from the chest on the awning.

There used to be a lot of scorpion spawns along the path before they made the changes to the Unnamed City.

Noticed u forgot one small chest. On the top there is near the bandits camp close the Inn with the conan u go top gateway and there is one on top and small one on the platform under it and right from it is the bandit chest with gold and silver.
