Wow, what fiddly little buttons. Hard to tell if that's a better option than the Tango 2's fiddly little roller. I appreciate the effort that's gone into the small form factor of these things, but it feels like a little more size would gain a lot more function.

I appreciate the physical trim buttons on this radio, the lack of physical trim buttons is a real shortcoming of the Tango 2.

I have a umx turbo timber and I can't get flaps to work u possibly have any suggestions every thing else works jus no flaps

I have never used Spectrum or UMX gear so I have no idea. Are you using the Jumper T-Lite radio?

Great video and explanation. I have an unrelated question for you andrew. Just finished building my 760mm Skyhunter racing. All new emax servo,s and using the flysky FS-ia6b receiver. All powers up fine motor works fine, spins up and stops. All control surfaces work, Ailerons and elevator...But after about 5 seconds of moving all surfaces the servos go crazy, twitch violently go through full movement then lock up, leaving the surfaces at maximum throw and there,s no control through the transmitter. soon as i unplug the battery and reconnect it they all go back to center. Any ideas as to what is happening or what iv done wrong? much appritiated.

Very odd behaviour! Gonna have to do some methodical trouble shooting. Try a different ESC or just a 5V battery to test. Make sure you selected the correct protocol AFHDS2A. Try a different receiver. Try each servo individually. Check you haven't done something funky in the inputs or mix pages.

@@AndrewNewton Yes its very odd behavior indeed. Protocol is all correct, everything works perfectly on the servo adjuster. The esc was from my zohd dart and is fine. The ailerons wires go into a Y piece and into one channel on the receiver, i dont know if i should remove the Y piece and run them separate?. I shall keep trying though. Thank you for your reply

Hi Andrew, I came late to the party on this one. I have the T-Lite now and I'm wondering if there is some way I can get it to bind with my FRSKY NON/EU D8/16 RX's, would I have to download extra firmware or am I missing something that is already on the T-Lite. So far it has failed bind with any of my NON EU stuff, even an Eachine US65. I'm not able to get it to bind with the DM002.

There are two RF module versions. Product link shows which receiver protocol works with each version. I had no problems binding to D8 and D16

They should forget about the small screens that you cannot see in daylight, and buttons that are too close together and make it so that you can plug ya phone into it, (which everyone has in the field with them), and use it as your "Remote Touch Screen" to make changes in the field!!!.

Hi Andrew Have learnt a lot from your T-Lite basic setup. A comment you made Re basic set up for a DLG would be a much appreciated as a follow on. I have just started into this arena and would like some guidence on some beginner set up. Initially I would be launching torpedo style as opposed to the DLG launch. I appreciate that there is a great deal of detail on this subject but the basics is all that I would like, plus helping a few other senior users. Cheers Colin

I had been thinking about getting a T-Lite for a second radio, but setting up models on that little screen does not look fun. Maybe they need to sell one of those old gameboy magnifiers that can attach to the top.

Hi Andrew With all your help I have started to get my head around this Multi Tx system. I have also just acquired a Jumper T-12 Pro. Initially all was well, but recently, trying to set up mixes useing the 3 position switches they only operate as a 2 position switch. Have had no help from the suppliers or from JUmper themselves. Would appreciate any help and suggestions you might have. Cheers Colin

Not sure what you're saying, but look at the Hardware page in the Radio setup and check that the switch is assigned as 3 pos
