For me personally having a 11 year old son myself and seeing how ya gave back to those kids and made their day, just gave me a whole other respect for you brother. Keep putting out these sick videos. I really love the content!
@Oliver Cheetham yea I guess some people just don’t understand anything about spreading positivity and kindness to others. Actually watch the video and maybe learn something.
As a kid in the back of my parents car going down the highway, I would fantasize about this exact thing! Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you!
The coolest part for me was when he took the time to hook those kids up. That made their day! When my oldest boy was younger he was just moving up from a PW50 to an RM65, and just learning to ride it. We were camping and riding at the Short Pines OHV park outside of Glendive MT, and on our second day a pro racer that was camped up the road from us rode up to our camp. He hung out and bs'd with us for a while, then asked if he could ride with my boy for a bit and show him some things. He spent 45 min to an hour riding around with him. That was the highlight of the summer for my son, and he still talks about it to this day. It was probably 12-13 yrs ago!
So cool of you to hook those kids up with some schwag. That cop coulda been a dick but your effusive apology and good attitude,......plus a bad ass jump that he no doubt was impressed with, saved the day. Keep em coming Raha, from an old dirt biking dude who paved the way back in the day, you give me a reason to smile and be hopeful for. Thanks man.
You know, Gentleman; that road pirate on the American Two-wheeler could and undoubtedly WOULD have that kicker BUT! Onlyyyyy when no citizens were watching. I mean, not one little teeny tiny doubt that he COULD EASILY HIT THAt. all day long like chicken wings and hot sauce like opposite side of the spectrum from Jessie James... like omg, like, I mean, omgoodness ... EXTENSIVE TRAINING PERIOD and 98% or above accepted ONLY.
seeing you give all them kids stuff made me tear up ngl. i was once those kids and i will forever be thankful for all the guys i met that kept me going. love yall
I just heard someone on you tube said don’t say just one more ! That’s when it goes bad . Cool shit tho , love how you take care of the future riders .
Yeah bro I really love that you made some safety shirts and mentioned some blue-collar workers! Just came across your channel bro and you’re doing good stuff with those kids keep it up and be safe! Local 302 IUOE proud!! I am a tower crane operator up in Washington state by Seattle if you ever wanna climb! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
So Awesome, you probably made those kids whole year. Also, that cop was a legend!! Edit: It's always that "one more" that gets ya, hope the shoulder is ok, I wrecked my shoulder and had to spend almost 12 months off the bike :(
Very fun. I've always thought that someone could do a really cool jump using the length of a smaller rural overpass. They typically have a more angled approach and departure, and every time I see one, I think of a small ramp on the approach, jump the length of the bridge, then use the departure as the landing ramp.
You have no idea how stoked I am for you guys. Back when I was Co-managing Emerald City Surf and Sport here in San Diego, we owned SMP. In 1995ish through 98 we would only dream of riding off and on ramps. We had SMP Country where we filmed a lot of Crusty Demons of Dirt at the 15/215 freeway split. Now, it’s all housing developments. So amped to see you guys doing what we salivated over and dreamed about. I’m almost thinking about getting my CR500 tuned and back out to ride with you. Work hard Ride hard! Much Aloha Brother 🤙🏼⚡️⚡️
Dana Nicholson, Freeman, Russel LBZ Themz we're the dayze! In Riverside right now and houses still going up everywhere! Grew up in Murrieta in the hills with Metzger, Linkogle, the rest. Them were good times before money ruined everything. Much love bro!
@@AxtionMag Sic! Themz was the day’s alright. That was the crew brother. I hope you still keep in touch with everyone. See ya in the dirt, burrrrrr burrrrrr⚡️⚡️
mid90s was h.s. for me in north county of s.d. huge smp fan!! always wondered what happened to them. skate more parks, surf more peaks, smoke more pot = smp hahaha, I thought that was so rebellious @the time
@@samimoring1235 Still around, but not even close to the same. Corporate crap. You would have loved the times we'd sit around and come up with the acronyms while taking dumps in the desert at the same time. Much Aloha brother🤙🏼⚡⚡
It's so awesome seeing you out here hitting these street spots. I have done that same stuff around my home town for years on a 2001 RM 250. I just had my last surgery on the 19th on a shattered right femur in 11 places and broken neck of my femur and your videos get me so pumped to get back out riding. Keep making amazing videos man they are off the chain.
100% truth! He is making our dreams come true. You know we always used to close one eye as we pass the bridge and pretend with out fingers were jumping it. 😁✌️
Now being 38 and looking back when I use to skateboard and remember getting some free merch from some pros and how excited they all got really brought back some good memories. Thanks for making those kids day...nice to see some good still in the world. Kids come back all jacked up on Monsters and Skittles lol.
My friend is an avid snowboarder and firmly believes that you never do "one more" of anything. Any time that he's gotten hurt, it's always been after saying "just one more run!" Looks like that might be true in other sports!
hey raha you have motivated me and you are so awesome and oneday im going to do what you do but on a skateboard and ill upload it but ill jump 5x or 10x less than you do, in terms of distance lol, also raha your intro,s are really well made and the video quailty and drone footage is very good
Another awesome release from the legend in his prime. Hope your shoulder heals well. Swinging a kettlebell around each day might help you rehab and strengthen all the supporting muscles.
Hell yes, the creativity on this channel is legendary. Love the union/blue collar crossover and giving back to the groms. Raha is the Santa Claus of SoCal.
Eso que hiciste con los niños fue algo que no van a olvidar nunca. Muchas gracias, poco a poco se puede cambiar el mundo, con pequeñas acciones como esa demuestras empatía hacia los demás.
I've envisioned this for 25+ years BMX fantasy from when I was a small fry. I'm so glad to see this fulfilled , props to the coolest motorcycle cop ever caught on video. Law enforcement has a tendency treat folks the same way they're being treated. Respect goes a long way. I've been let off with far more warnings more than fines or court dates.
You are a real talent. I got rid of my dirt bike because my son was too interested in it and no one in my family (including me) was ever as talented at you. My brother-in-law injured himself so many times doing this that he finally had to quit. Many of his aches and pains now in his senior years are due to those injuries. A friend at church now gets around only with a walker and leg braces because of a bike accident doing what you guys do. Another friend who did what you do has been in a wheelchair for the past 40 years. He says he is in constant pain and endlessly regrets the day he bought the bike. These are just 3 people I know well. I wonder what the law of averages are for people who take the risks you take? At least I'm glad you included the accident you had so people can know that risks also catch up with experts like you. The great Evel Knievel was nearly 70 when he died but he suffered excruciating pain in his lower back during his final years from all those accidents. You're amazing at what you do. Thanks for sharing. I hope you always tell the kids who worship you what the risks are and how to avoid them. If not, it's like handing a kid a loaded gun without teaching him firearm safety.
Sounds like your family just isn’t very good at driving to be honest, when people say dirtbiking “is in their dna” they’re not kidding. Genes are the major deciding factor in whether a person will be a “good driver” or not, it requires substantial hand eye coordination, reaction time, split second decision making and judgement, and muscle memory and reflex, some people are great at that and some people are not, that is why when people that dirtbike have kids they are just naturals at it, because it “runs in the family” so to speak.
@@Yz4Life Hi @Ryan k, actually my brother-in-law isn't genetically related but, as to dirt biking not being my family's DNA, you are so right! No one in my genetic family is coordinated. I admire those who are. Sounds like yours is. Lucky for you.
I guess some people don't have that mechanism in the brain that lets them know to not get on a motorbike until they are absolutely sure about what they're doing.
@@Freud_Mayweather Yeah, and some people know they're just naturally clumsy and prone to do stupid things no matter what they try. That would be me, totally talentless when it comes to such things!
I am almost 65. Raced till I was 52. Last wreck was ast yr. backwards off a 15 ft cliff on my KLR 250. I laughed on the way down. I knew this was my last hurrah. My right shoulder seemed to the one I always tucked and rolled on. Even falling backwards I ended up on top of the bike. Crash Reflexes. Landed on that right shoulder. It is so screwed...lol But I wouldn't trade the pain for the fun I had. And the evolution of dirt Bikes. I started on dual rear shocks. My first Mono was a 1976 YZ175. My flying began with that wonderful bike. My fastest YZ490. My go to YZ250. Great Vid.Guys. The bike always heals before we do...Peace
At 53 and beat to death and watching you help those kids and do things that are impossible by the standards of what we had in the past, I am impressed with your work ethic and your accomplishments, we tried but never had anything that would do that. God bless and enjoy your accomplishments because they are well deserved and earned.
When you're a little man, and you set out on an adventure with your buddies on bicycles it's a magical thing and sometimes magical things happen... Very cool for giving those boys something to remember that day by. Might have just sparked the fire in the next Jeremy McGrath!!!
bro i used to race supercross when i was young, this video made me remember the roadtrips with the bikes in the trailer. i gre up skateboarding, and dirt bikes were something i was blessed to have around in my life. skateboarding always had a sense of rebellion that supercross definitely lacked when i was young. i used to dream of boosting highway offramps like that brother, you are literally living the dream ❤
Those 2 strokes are loud. That's why you got caught. Gotta get a Stark Varg so no one hears you shred those jumps lol! They'll think someone is driving an RC Car around 😛
Such mannerly children. I like the way you handled that cop. The slightest bit of coolness was detected and basically you told him what was gonna happen and he was happy enough with not writing about it.
That cop would’ve SO been down with you guys doing an OVER THE ROADWAY flight, with him timed to be riding beneath, ‘unaware’! 😂 But knowing he’d get in big trouble when the video was found and circulated, he made a good choice to do what he did😂
The cop was pretty cool. Just told them nicely that they couldn't do it. They were also respectful of the directive from the cop. It's as easy as that. No one has to get hurt or go to jail.
Love you guys taking a moment to interact with the younger generation. We never know who we’re going to reach throughout our time here. I do my best to make those moments as positive as I possibly can, because that one interaction could be the catalyst to changing a person’s life.
That cop was cool as fuck. "Might have been cool, but its illegal" Def wanted to watch but has a job to do. The little crashes that cost injuries are what keep my wheels on the ground. Thank you for always sending it!
Dude if I was a kid, and some dude on a big ass dirt bike showed up, ripping stunts, raising hell like a bad ass, then rolled the fuck up with stickers and cash being cool....Dude......I wish man. Them kids will remember that day for life my dude, then dude turns his van into a free yardsale.... Thats whats up dude. You made me a fan for life witht hat shit
Riding my bike from LA to Vegas in March 2022, going 85 mph with traffic and a work van in front of me did what you did but didn’t need a ramp to clear the road at the top. Low insulin, passed out with cruise control on.
If you grew up in Southern California doing any type of "Xtreme" (lol) sports. You definitely thought of doubling and freeway overpass. It's a giant double waiting to be had, all thanks to cal-trans planning department. 😆
AWESOME!!!!!! IM SITTIN HERE LAUGHING , BECAUSE IM ALMOST 60, AND I WAS A DIRTBIKE RIDER BACK IN THE 70S, RODE SKATEBOARDS WHEN I HAD TO LOAD MY OWN BEARINGS, AND THEN MIGRATED TO HOTRODS. ITS HILARIOUS AS I SEE YOU YOUNGSTERS DOING WILD AND KRAZY STUFF, NOT HUTRIN NO ONE BUT YURSELF..LOL, AND BEING FREE!. HAY I BEEN PULLED OVER ON MY 2 STROKE BACK IN THE DAY. BUT ITS ALL HEALTHY AND YUR ONLY YOUNG ONCE. THANKS FOR HOOKING UP THOSE KIDS WITH THE GOODIES AND ENCOURAGING THEM!!!, THAT WAS ME WAY BACK A TIME AGO JUMPIN RAMPS ON MY BMX BIKE. WE WERE THE BEGINNING OF IT ALL IN THE EARLY 70S, , SO IN A FUNNY WAY WE WERE OUR OWN HEROES!!... BE BLESSED, AND CALCULATE THE RISK.
I like how this adult acts like a kid. That isn’t a dig, it’s a compliment. Don’t ever stop having fun doing what you like to do. The reason this guy is cool to the kids is because he is happy. Happy people are cool. Mean people just suck and vote Democrat. 😁
You're such a legendary rider just turn away from Shaitan man. He'll abandon you on the Day of Judgement and he has no power over the All-Mighty whom He fears. Our Creator is Fully-Aware and you could be among the best of mankind and Djinn in Paradise with rivers flowing beneath and honored for everything you did if you believe and do good. Rather than humiliated and disgraced then sent to a painful retribution in Hell with the rest of the losers that Shaitan mislead and abandoned.
500CC? Loved my CR500, RM250, YZ125, ........repeating of course. Nothing beats the sound and smell of a 2 stroke. MX338 Southwick Ma is in our backyard. Moto-X FTW!!
Nice riding. Damn! There's still real kids out there? 51 now & that's all ya seen in the day, KIDS ON BIKES, The way it should be!! GO OUTSIDE, DRINK FROM THE HOSE till the street lights come on. Kudos to you man, for supporting the kids.
