Time to take him cross country schooling! Seriously, just go and jump some logs and small ones (and bring us along!). I think Antares would really enjoy it. Awesome horse and great riding!
@@thebayBindi he has a hard time judging the distances before the jump and lifting his hind legs. He raises his head when he lands so I'm wondering if that's good for balance on slipery floor.
@@hattieshorsieadventures1186 me too bits aren't that abusive depending on which ones we're talking about but bitless bridles do look nice especially the nelanta bitless bridle
What a great video. My 4 year old son and I watched and he said he wanted to watch you ride more. We are a horse owning family. We even got a black pony that we renamed Macho after your Macho. You are such an inspiration to my son. ❤️
You are full of surprises! I love your playful spirit! Beautiful riding and jumping. What a great team you are! And your friend, Dominique is so full of light and happiness! Just a great video! Thank you for brightening my life!
Awwww! What a good boy Antares 💖 Enjoyed the video. Jesse, you could film everyday life with the horses, Mazy and Penny and I’d watch. That being said, I would like to see Macho do the water jump challenge 🤣 I suspect Macho might have his own ideas about the situation 🤣 My only question is did Matt freak out when he saw the water in the arena? 🤣🤣🤣
wow!!! this is because he trusts you! you are a fantastic rider and someone to look up to! EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE A CONNECTION WITH THEIR HORSE THE WAY JESSE DOES!!!!
💕💕 Absolutely beautiful! What fun! Great trust between you. Jesse, you are one of the most relaxed riders I have ever seen. You make everything seem like fun. Thank you SO much for sharing. Looking forward to more videos.
Antares is ridiculously beautiful! I often forget he’s not a white horse until the sunlight hits him just right and his stunning gold color shines through. Seeing the two of you together always brings a smile to my face. Thank you so much for sharing this 💜
This was so much fun to watch. Jesse, you do have great ideas that are sometimes “outside the box” -- what could be better than encouraging people to be in a fun and loving mode with their horses . I love Antares. He is “game”
Jesse, that was great fun! Thanks for coming up with such a great idea and sharing it with us. Antares was great... and Dominique was such a good sport getting soaked, she is a good friend!
Antares has a great jump. He quickly learned from knocking the pole with his back legs. He has such beautiful carriage and movement. A great video of friends having some fun with a gorgeous horse on a sunny day - made me smile - thank you.
I love how sweet and calm your videos are, it's just such pleasure to watch and brings a smile to my face 💙 And Dominique handled this camera perfectly, thank you!
Hey Jesse, I really enjoy the videos you share with us and the different things you do with the horsees and that bold little shetland Macho! I think we are always teaching and they are learning no matter what we do with them. I would love to see some more cart excursions with Macho around the neighborhood, and maybe some trail riding too (when you have the time lol). Thank you for using your valuable time to put a smile on so many faces. Antares was such a good sport - he did very well. You have such a gentle way in your training methods and it shows by the way they all respect you. Very nice work!
I love to see the connection you have with your horses, makes me want to connect more with my animals. Also it's a good example of a healthy relationship. Thank you for everything you do Jesse!
nice jumping dude, ive only had a little expirience with it cause im a western rider, but my boy still jumps, hes beutiful by the way! (i cant really spell sorry)
Hello Jesse! This video was such a joy to watch! You are truly a master horseman. It's easy to see your relationship of trust and respect that you have with Antares. You speak his language and he will do anything for you with no bit, no spurs and no drama. I agree with your philosophy that it's all about having fun and trying new and interesting activities for both of you. Excellent work! I'm looking forward to your next "event". Best wishes to you and your lovely friends from warm and sunny southern California!
Jesse, you should be so proud of Antares!!! You are right. He really trusts and loves you so much. His confidence was a bit shakey at times, but he still pushed through for you. That tells me how much he loves you. Looks like a fun experiment. Remember trust is everything and be sure to never push him beyond what he can do. Your relationship with Antares is very, very special. I also caution you watch the footing. If you did this too long, it is possible he could slip, possibly fall in the wet footing, and get hurt and I know you would not want that. To me it looked like you did it just right and that you both enjoyed it and had fun. I am so jealous of that beautiful arena and it is wonderful that you have such a nice quiet place to concentrate and work your horses every day. Stay safe. Love you and Matt!! :)
Your accent isn't stupid as you said Jesse, but attractive and your English impressively fast and fluent, as good as your riding skills and I'm a Brit. Well done! Xx😊
I know its unbelievable but this is legit the earliest I've been Antares looks amazing You two are goalzzzzzzz I love how u ride him bitless and give him that freedom, while making him do wot u want him to
@@phoenixc7245 I never said it was abuse? I use bits with my horses It depends on what I'm doing so yea I never said it was abuse I just said that I like a change now and then, seeing riders ride their horses bitless
great show of trust. I'm jealous of how soft your contact and secure your seat are. really nice that you're not throwing away the reins or getting left behind .
One of my favorite things about this was their blatant refusal to pinch the hose so they wouldn’t get shot with water while fixing the jump 😂 Such wholesome fun, Jesse, thank you!
It looks like it was a lot of fun, but... did Antares enjoy it too? I really love watching you try different things with your horses and I can tell you really love sharing them with us too!
Hi Jesse..You are such a lovely gentle caring guy..No surprise your horses trust you. Still watch over and over again...Your adventure by the sea and Sand Dunes..Take Care and be safe 👍🙂
yes you got rhythm and he like water too - looks good now in the jumping events here they have square strips of water containers and form part of the jump either in front or back left were you don't expect it - or is this completely different again
Here in Texas, we are already in the '90s and with a depression already forming in the Gulf! Meaning hurricane is forming. It is going to be a bad summer I think. If I ever get back into horses, I will buy your bitless reins. I love them! I think bits should be outlawed period. One day, right! toodles debs from Texas
Bits are not bad it always depends on the person who's using them and how aggressive the bit is bits are simply tools just like any other peice of tack
Jesse what a fun video! Really beautiful, you need to get a photo of the last jump with the water spray and sunshine! I always enjoy what you post, you are so fun, and sweet, and kind. I would be just as devoted to watch you make your breakfast or any other day to day task as you always make me smile, however this one was epic 💛
