June 12, 2022 Central South Dakota Tornadic Supercell 

On June 12th, 2022, clusters of storms formed towards the Black Hills and moved east into better air and shear. One HP supercell approached Philip, then Midland, eventually right turning south of Okaton, producing 3 confirmed tornadoes, of which we witnessed one in the dark. The structure and electrification of this supercell was insane! We followed the damage path the next morning and saw considerable structural damage to a few farmsteads.
