Glad I found your channel absolutely love your garden style and your borders are beautiful!!! Looking forward to seeing them this season 🙂 thanks for sharing
I know you don't post super often-- (Life, i get it. ) but I just wanted to leave a comment telling you how much I enjoy your garden nd this tour. I come back to it time and time again for calm, and inspiration. I really hope you share your garden again with us this year. Thank you for inspiring me with color and texture! ( we have similar tastes in roses too!)
This is the first video I’ve watched so please forgive me if you’ve answered this question before but how do you keep your delphiniums and other tall flowers from toppling in the wind? I planted a very large cottage style border in late winter this year and am always looking for new plants, plant pairings, plant supports and always inspiration. Your young cottage garden is beautiful and very inspirational. Thanks
Thank you so much Tawana! Typically I use bamboo stakes and twine to support them, but I’ve been tinkering with a new support system that I will share in a video in the future! Planting a bunch of delphiniums close together, also seems to help them support each other.
New subscriber here and I absolutely love your style and plant choices! I am planning my own cottage garden (also in high desert mountain west) and I am wondering how you handle watering things that grow next to each other with very different water needs, like yarrow next to a rose bush or guara next to a hydrangea. Do you hand water to make sure each plant is getting what they need or do you have this garden on a drip system?
Hi Sarah! Thank you so much! Yes, I have a drip system and will go over that in a future video, but for plants that need extra water like the roses and hydrangeas I give them two extra 1 or 2 gallon emitters around their root balls.
