The only people that are going to make money off this are the attorney's.. victims will wind up with very little and will lose any v.a. benefits they already are getting...which will make the v.a. very happy...

The reason nobody files is because it’s always been a joke always will be a joke. There’s been Veterans at filed years ago that hasn’t seen a dime and never will see your dime..

Many veterans and civilian workers won't file til they know how it will effect their va disability

Surely not worth jeopardizing your present disability pay and rating.

I don't think they monitor this page. I went to the Bell Law Group and they never responded to the question of how this will effect veterans present disability payments and rating.

How does this effect current disability ratings assigned by VA

We were there 2 yrs both kids born there What really irks me is fact of all the limitations they put on this any way to get out of taking care of veterans just like Agent Orange etc But the government has millions upon millions of dollars to totally take care of 10 plus million illegals who have invaded us in last 3 years everything they need. Total BS and they just can't figure out why no one is interested in serving.

Do not get involved with suits like this. I was involved in a lawsuit against 3m for defective hearing protection issued to soldiers in the military. The case drug out for over five years. The law office I was involved with contacted me weekly, asking for paperwork that I had sent in on numerous other occasions. After five years, an out of court settlement was reached. A 6 billion dollar settlement. There were only 250k military members involved in the suit. The defendant was allowed to set the conditions for the payments. I have and presented paperwork showing because of the defective hearing protects used in Iraq and Afghanistan caused a hearing loss of 75db in one ear and 70db in the other ear. I have to use close caption on my tv to hear and a land line that prints out conversations so I can respond. I have hearing aids from the VA, and they are pure garbage. During covid, I carried a notebook so people like cashiers could write down things they were saying because I couldn't see their mouth to read lips. The mounds of paperwork I presented were outside a three year time frame before the suit was filed or after I retired. I retired in 2015. The paperwork presented was from 2011 and 2019. The attorneys for 3m were allowed to dictate that time frame. In the end as def as I am, I was told my settlement amount was 16k. Of that 16k, the attorneys got 40%. There was a 1900 dollar charge for expert witnesses testimony. A charge for administrative handling. If you had other issues related to the defective hearing protection, it cost 1k dollars out of your settlement payout to have that claim evaluated. At the end of the day, Im legally deaf caused by the defective hearing protection. The amount Inrecieved was 7400 dollars after five years of headaches, any my hearing getting worse. Jyst a side note. The law office representing me is in Kansas. At one point, the attorney I had been dealing with I had not heard from in a while. I was contacted about sending the same paperwork I had previously sent. I let them know I had already sent it. I was informed that he had died and no one could get into his files.
