June 4, 2024 Should of been here yesterday, broken leash, and pinky toe on the nose! DID I DO IT? 

Ever hear guys in the water say "SHOULD OF BEEN HERE YESTERDAY"!
This was true today. I know, cause yesterday was really fun!
Broke my leash middle of session so I surfed without a leash. Was a challenge but waves were tiny so no biggy.
I'm learning to embrace changing up boards when conditions are not good or just the fact that I"m getting older & gaining more weight and can't keep up. haha. I had to go switch boards to a bigger volume taller board and it made a big difference in how much fun I had in the session.
Make sure you wear your earplugs & noseplugs if you can get some from amazon.
