A rare kinescope recording of June Allyson's TV dramatic debut in a scene from Thornton Wilder's "Our Town" on the General Motors 50th Anniversary Special, a live 2-hour star-studded NBC-TV spectacular on November 17, 1957. The show was hosted by Kirk Douglas and Ernest Borgnine, directed by Charles Dubin, and produced by my dad, Jess Oppenheimer. Carmen Mathews plays Emily's mother. John Gibson plays her father, and John Fiedler is the milkman.
