There are scant details on much of this, but the vibe I'm getting is that, save for apostates or those that express zero remorse for serious sin (by the WT definition), disfellowshipping will be a thing of the past. They are under too much pressure to reform.

@19:46 yeah they want the parents involved to cut down on the liability. It'll probably have an unintended side-effect of them being able to "prove" that they don't separate children from their parents at any time, which is usually their argument in cases of CSA. It won't work, as we still have evidence to the contrary, but it's something to consider. Good to see June and Jared on camera together for this one :)

What are they doing baptising minors? One young Elder's daughter of 5 years of age in America 2023 District Convention? How is that following Jesus example of at least 29 years of age when He was baptised. 😮 In our Congregation in 2022 a 9 year old Elder's son was baptised then louded as an adult!!! 😮 one cannot make this shit up!!! Where is the scriptural support for baptising children found in the scriptures? One would think we would have seen this example with John the Baptiser found in the scriptures but we do not find this as an example.

I am a Christian, I worship with the church of Christ. We simply follow the account on the day of Pentecost in acts chapter 2. Each Sunday we have a sermon, sing , pray and partake of the Lord supper to commemorate the death of Jesus. And we give. The New Testament church of the Bible is simple. You can gather under a tree and and do all the acts of worship mentioned above! Love this type of video! My dad texted me telling me to watch it and told me that “we must be close to the end!”…. Idk how this means we are close to the end. Mark Sanderson's presentation is front-loaded or prefaced with theme of divine mercy because no impartial auditor would conclude that these specious and trifling adjustments manifest genuine mercy. Mark Sanderson's dubious phrase "better reflect Jehovah's mercy" gave me pause...why doesn't the Governing Body simply emulate Jehovah's mercy instead of providing a pale diluted, and insubstantial reflection? About mercy, William Shakespeare famously said: "It is an attribute of God himself; And earthly power doth then show likest God's When mercy seasons justice." The Governing Body's display of mercy is too hypocritical to appear Godly.

I do not mean this in any type of disrespect ....I'm sorry but I believe you guys were duped by him on John 2.... If you will notice in John 2 he purposely did not read what the teaching is... The teaching that John 2 is talking about is anyone that comes to you preaching that Jesus did not come in the flesh.. The part that the JW's want to emphasize on is where it says anyone that does not "remain in the teaching of Christ"... When if you read the very next words it says anyone that does not bring "this" teaching... This teaching is quoted in the verses before verse 9... Which is about the Antichrist... Not about someone that disagrees with their religion and all of their false prophecies in false teaching... So John 2 is not talking about apostate in the way that JW's describe apostates.... Here's my next point... They're going to still uphold the shunning practice except for the idea that you can say hello to someone at a Kingdom Hall... And that's all... Unless their henchmen want to go and talk to them... There's a problem with this... They say that John 2 is describing apostates... So why use John 2 to still push an overall shunning for ones that they do not consider apostates? ... That is the only scripture that they have to push shunning... Even though they take it completely out of context... Because when Paul talks about kicking someone out he does not say to shun them... He says do not associate... There's a huge difference between shunning and not associating... I do not associate with two of my blood brothers... But I would never not say hello to him or even have a conversation with them... So how can they still justify the overall shunning if they admit.. even though they're wrong still on John 2... They admit that it has nothing to do with a regular sinner... That means that there's still going against scripture... Because Paul makes it clear that not everyone is to not associate with a sinner... In his second letter to Corinth he revisited where he had told them to kick the wicked dude out of the congregation... And he is telling them that the majority would be appropriate to not associate... That means it will be ones that we'll talk to him because he makes it clear he does not want the person to become over saddened... AKA to the point of suicide... 2 Corinthians 2: 5-11.. 5Now if anyone has caused pain, he has caused it not to me, but in some measure-not to put it too severely-to all of you. 6For such a one, this punishment by the majority is enough, 7so you should rather turn to forgive and comfort him, or he may be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. 8So I beg you to reaffirm your love for him. 9For this is why I wrote, that I might test you and know whether you are obedient in everything. 10Anyone whom you forgive, I also forgive. Well there's a difference when it comes to bringing awareness about things that are mentioned outside of the JW official website, or having a difference of opinion. Not one at the EXJW meet up I was at last weekend was trying to force me to leave (before my time) or promote wrong conduct to me. They were more curious about me and my background which I gave in further detail than on the live streams, and understood why I'm currently PIMO (for the moment) despite how frustrated I am being one. Plus it's not a crime unlike those who committed these heinous crimes against children or those who covered it up (which in my opinion is also a sharer of their sins /crime). "You know it's a cult when you try to leave" That explains why there's so many PIMO's out there. First thing I was asked at a funeral a while back was "What's your current status?" The cash aspect (Norway and pending lawsuits) is probably the driving force,but-LoL-they've created a lose/lose situation with their remaing members! The young are leaving in droves and this beards and pants and rock and roll wont convince them to remain,whilst the older members are likely to leave in disgust at these changes!!
