Whats easiest route from 100 hives to 300 equipment wise..I've got the bees just not the equipment. You reach a point where you're only limited by equipment..trucks,skidsteer or forklift etc..I have access to actual honey house, skidsteer with forks,land...just not equipment to expand fast..6,000 hives, wow!!! That's a ton of work ! Awesome 👌
The bees are the easy part of growing really. Keep your eyes peeled for used equipment out there. Luckily we’re running just over 3000 right now and the other 3000 are lease bees. Equipment growth was way easier 5 years ago. The last hummerbee we bought was 40,000. Now I’m looking at 65,000. Boxes, lumber, it’s all gone crazy high.
We do both. Depends on if you want fructose or sucrose. We just ended up ordering a few pallets of sugar from sams recently. Mann Lake couldn't do much better on price.
Just found your channel, nice operation you've got there. What part of Texas you from I'm about 2 hrs west of Dallas, now I have to watch all your vids.
The deeps in the warehouse will be going on after the North Dakota honey is pulled. Everything will be a double deep from fall to almonds. I’m sure I’ll make a video about that.
