I may be wrong but if I remember correctly..... This measures how many people are unemployed. However, once you've been unemployed for a long time and you STILL can't find a job, then you'll eventually finish your unemployment, once you are off of unemployment then you aren't in the system anymore as being unemployed. However, I am positive there are A LOT of people who are in that exact position so the real number for unemployed is quite a bit higher than this study might show.
People don’t understand the difference between the unemployment rate and labour participation rate. There are way more people who don’t work than you think.
No doubt. There are so many people today who aren't even seeking work, and that tells a different picture. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
@@beaviswealth yeh I know someone got scammed for I think $100, they requested to pay for background check.... But there's no such thing to pay to get hired...
It's because the airport stores are duty-free! Hence you get kind of a discount on a big purchase (since these brands have a higher price point). I don't really spend my money on luxury goods but I have gotten good deals there for cameras and seen friends buy expensive alcohol.
Thanks for your comment. I guess because I've never shopped in those stores, I just assumed the prices would be crazy high, and even with a duty free status, would still be more than I'm willing to pay for the items. Good points, though.
@@beaviswealth I am also not their target customer! Yes, prices are still crazy high. Unfortunately, we still live in a culture that values brands that kind of display wealth rather than investments that bring actual wealth (unless you are in a space where people are financially savvy). And from what I've heard these brands rarely go on sale. Sometimes going as far as burning or slashing the merchandise to preserve brand value. So I think this is the closest to a discount you can get.
Thanks for your comment; ya... that slide should have been employed, not unemployed! I removed it to avoid confusion. Thanks again. (P.S. I refuse to accept the no drinking at work policy. My videos, my rules. 😁)
