This adventure takes us to the eastern side of the Sierra mountain range. June lake is nicknamed "The Alps of California" for it's stunning mountain scenery and lush green meadows. With the massive snow melt, the waterfalls were flowing and the lakes were full!

Nice one! We just came back yesterday from a 2-night camping at Oh Ridge. Saw the bald eagle and went kayaking to that paradisaical small beach between the rocks too!

Gorgeous. We are camping there on memorial day weekend. Is that trail kid friendly?

Hello and thank you! It's a beautiful place for sure! That trail is pretty much uphill for a couple miles so not sure if your kiddos are into that! I guess it depends on their tolerance for uphill climbs. The views are amazing and the waterfall is stunning. Hope you can get out there!

Are you allowed to use a generator at this campground? We are heading up soon. Also can we fill up water jugs and transfer it to our camper since there’s no hookup? I can’t find info on this anywhere

Hi! Yes for both questions. They have quiet hours, which you’ll find out when you check in but otherwise we heard generators. And, each camping loop has water and you can pull up and fill up before parking. And, fill jugs if you need more. Have fun!

It was about 10 minutes. Longer if you’re in the upper campground. Doable but if you’re carrying lots of things, it might be hard. We loved the beach at June Lake. Such stunning views! Have fun!
