I have a notebook I keep in my desk that I call my "rememberall" where I make notes of when we did stuff. Such as, bought a new refrigerator, got the sump tank cleaned, purchased a new dishwasher, etc. Those are things I never remember, and so I refer to that notebook when I need to remember something. Works great!
I love this idea! As someone with ADHD I usually only have one journal but this one is perfect because this would be for my husband. I can also add in business cards and prices. For example, we get out trees trimmed professionally because we have 5 very tall palm trees. Thanks for the idea.

I love your notebook challenge videos; I look forward to them every month. My brain works like yours--the more notebooks, and the more segmented my ideas, the better. I think most of us who watch your channel feel the same way about the multiple notebooks and planners. And you know what? You don't need to apologize for, or qualify, the things that you love! God made you who you are. Your life experiences and personal strength helped shape you to become the wonderful person you are today. And, there are so many of us that care for you and watch your channel because of all things that make you Sarra. Be Sarra. Without apology (even for the notebooks!). I *love* that I have HB90 for *forever*. I’ve been in a similar boat with my writing, and I feel like it’s all finally moving forward again. I think I’ll jump into this round of the class to make sure I’m using the next couple months the best way I can.

Thank you for being so upbeat in this video... it has helped to motivate me a bit more. I also used a variety of notebooks for different reasons and I enjoy seeing what others do with theirs. I fell out of the planning and journaling habit when my mom died. I tried a couple of times to restart the journaling, but it was not the right time yet. Planning things will be a bit longer of a break. I am still in the process of grief, and a planner full of broken plans very difficult to face. Ending on an upbeat note... I love the Hello Kitty notebook. I also have a varied collection of Hello Kitty items 😍
I'm glad you shared the travelers notebooks today and that you feel like you need to remove the notebooks to actually write in them. I have a gorgeous orange one I think I'm going to take off my shelf and see if I can assign a job for it for the summer. I'm a teacher, so you hit the nail on the head regarding unbalanced quarters. Me too, I feel like I finally grasped what works for me in order to achieve my 2023 New Year’s resolutions, after many trials and errors. I love the idea of having a different, permanent notebook for each course or story. I tend to use removable pages in a single planner, and your comments made me realize that I'm not as focused because too many ideas from different projects were overwhelming my brain. Thanks!

Don't forget to include a health and wellness section of your Family Admin notebook. :) I used to keep a migraine/headache log in mine that was designed to look like a Tetris game (different shaped pieces for different types headaches or triggers with spaces for dates and medicines taken). Right now, with so much chaos in my life, I've had to cut back on my notebooks and planners to the bare minimum. I have four notebooks I use regularly, plus a planner I'd like to use more often, but just don't have the time and creative energy for. Notebook one is just for scratch--a place to quickly jot or puzzle something on paper that can be ripped out and tossed later. Notebook two is my "currently open tabs" notebook--a place to keep long-term, ongoing projects, shipping reminders, gift ideas, etc. (Anything and everything that is random that might need to be added to or referenced later.) Notebook three is a "perpetual to-do list" where the pages have bullet points and I add things that I need to remember to do. There are no due dates, there is no order of completion, it's just stuff that needs to get done. (This one took a lot of pressure off my already full plate and mind.) Notebook four is my WIP notebook, where I'm keeping track of word counts, writing stage deadlines, personal progress reports, reminders, etc. Some seasons of our lives allot for more creative energy and time, which means pretty notebooks, decorated pages, themed doodads all to bring us joy and peace. And sometimes, joy and peace can be found in three plain old spiral notebooks bought two decades ago and a cheap bullet journal. I look forward to the day when I can pull out all my pretties again and be able to have them lined up on a shelf near my desk. Until then, doodles, random stickers from my three-year-old, and a little (a lot of) personal grace goes a long way towards maintaining joy, keeping that well filled, and keeping life organized.
Planning multiple stories in one place is such a great idea. Especially when planning a series or interconnected standalone series . I’ll definitely have to try it. Instead of having plans and notes and ideas in a hundred different places.
I am fairly new to planning and journaling. But it is a new hobby that I greatly enjoy. I have watched many of your videos. I must say I can definitely hear the energy in your voice and the renewed motivation. I look forward to your next video.

I have a Designs by Planner Perfect A5 sized Monthly Planner that I use for the house & family events. That’s where I put down doctors appts, when the sheets were changed, when the dog got groomed, date nights, yoga class, dinner party menus, etc. It sits inside an Erin Condren TN on the kitchen counter and everyone has access to it. It has a cute design on the front that you can choose, and each month of the year is followed by 4 pages of plain paper. The paper quality is fantastic - it takes ink beautifully as well as watercolors and paints. I find it’s just the right amount of space and the perfect size for our needs.
Your videos are always such a safe place! Thanks for being brave enough to keep at it even when there's plenty of people who put down cause they feel down. I'd love to try that style of notebook!
Great to see your progress! I've been feeling pretty directionless recently which adds to my anxiety (even though I'm better at having it under my control) and this video gave me some ideas how to keep myself in check and how to progress. Especially the project planner, it made me realise that perhaps a project is what I need to focus on! Thank you Sarra, your challenge videos are always such encouragement to use my stuff:)

It makes my stationery lovers heart so happy. I also compartmentalize evrything so I have a ton of different journals and planners, all for seperate purposes. So I get it. Having a dedicated notebook/planner section for things like oil changes, registration renewals, etc is a must if you have more than one vehicle. It takes a lot of stress out of the equation I find. Also, love those stickers. Gonna have to check those out.
I travel frequently and relocate every few years, so I try and keep a limited number of notebooks. But I do love them and enjoy seeing the joy you get from using them. If I ever settle, I will have a notebook closet 😂 and use as many different notebooks as I can.
Watching your monthly notebook challenges always inspires me. I used to have blank notebooks as well but after watching your notebook challenges, they have all been filled.
I love watching your notebook challenge videos to see all the notebooks you have purchased over the years and how you plan on using them. I just purchased 5 more B6 Stalogy notebooks yesterday 😂😂😂. I will be pairing them with my undated SI common planners. However, you can never have too many notebooks that you love and use 😊.
I started a bill breakdown on one of my Happy Planners, but didn't keep up with it consistently. Every once in a while I find it sorting thru my many journals and jot down the latest budget. It's one of my favorites since I get to see how far I've come and there's no pressure to fill out every month. My little snapshot in time ❤. You've inspired me to try a journal next to my bed and start using what I have.
That summer one was so pretty! As well as that big blue one with I believe the feathers! I need to organize mine I have so many notebooks and journals I don’t use and I have the problem of just collecting pretty journals/notebooks, lol 😂
Love that you're doing art with the kids this summer, what a fun activity to do together! And way to go Andrew for wanting to get into cartoon illustration, how cool! I could never keep up with as many notebooks as you, but like you said, we're all different. We use our notebooks in different ways, and however you use yours, is right for you :) I have my Hobo Cousin that is my catch-all, and then each different novel I work on gets it's own Leuchtturm A5 notebook. I love seeing all my Leuchtturms lined up on my bookshelf in my office! I would love to see setup of your project planner!
The project planner looks amazing- I’ll definitely put that in my splurge pile or as a reward for something. Can’t wait for HB90 to start! Got a brand new A5 binder for the class 😊 Also I’m going to try splitting planners like you said and create my novel notes notebook to keep me inspired.
