The music teacher in me enjoys your singing! The statement from this video with which I most identify ..."It's nice to hear someone else struggle with the things you struggle with, so you feel less alone". Sometimes you are so profound! I believe I would enjoy reading anything on this list. You take care ♥
Hi my friend! Thank you for saying something nice about my singing, I’m such a terrible singer! 😂 It’s always nice to feel a little less alone in this world, something I definitely need at the minute! Thanks for watching as always, take care of yourself 😊
It's nice to be right about a book, isn't it? I am new to your channel and I find you very authentic and relatable. My first video was the Pride recs, a lot of them is now on my "want to read" list. My next one will be the reading vlog.
@@caspiansvensson hi! It’s genuinely so nice to have you here! Thanks for watching! I’m glad you’ve found some books to add to your want to read list! I love to hear that! 😊
I read 10 books in june, none of them were LGBTQ+ books, I am saving those for august when we celebrate pride here in Sweden. We celebrate a bit with the rest of the world online in June, but IRL it is in August everything happens. I do a lot of rereads during the summer, for me that is cosy, familiar and gives me vacation vibes. And mostly what we call feelgood which is mostly romance but can be other genres as well, as long as it is predictable and... cosy. But I did read some new-to-me-books. I like fantasy and read A court of thorns and roses, and did not like it, gave it 2 starts. I read three Sharon Gosling books and gave one 5 stars and two 4 stars. I absolutely LOVED Vera Wong's Unsolicited Advice for murderers (5 starts) and I also loved Thursday Murder club (5 stars). I read a swedish boigraphy on the worlds first Dog psychologist (a swede) that isn't translated into english, also 5 stars. I reread The last battle by CS Lewis (I loved the Narnia books when I was a child and still do) and The bookshop around the corner by Jenny Colgan (feelgood reread). For july I plan more feelgood rereads, some horror, some mystery, some historical fiction and whatever looks interesting when I visit my local library tomorrow. 🫖📚
@@caspiansvensson oh my gosh, you had a fantastic reading month! I love that you’re saving your lgbtq+ books for August when you celebrate pride, that’s such a brilliant idea. You’ve tempted me to read Thursday Murder Club! I hope you enjoy your summer of rereads! 😊
Hi Jack! 😊 I've seen Love After Love here and there but never looked into it; after your glowing review it's going on my tbr pronto. I really love stories about found families, plus I'd like to explore Caribbean literature more. My reading month was a bit all over the place but I managed to read a really good nonfiction book about asexuality so Pride month was saved, only just 🤣
Hi friend! I love that you’ve found a book you’re interested! And it’s a good one you’ve chosen! We’ve all had months where the readings all over the place but I’m glad you’ve found a book that saved Pride month! Thanks for watching as always, I appreciate you 😊
