SO THANKFUL for no changes! Treatment is working and you are a rock star!! 🌟 Thank you for these videos. You help so many. Love and prayers as always! 🩷
Scan anxiety is for real, and these long days can be rough (hugs!), but at least you got it all out of the way in one visit. I'm on Zometa, which is like Xgeva, but infusion instead of injection. CT contrast makes me think of trying to drink a cup of saliva, hate it, but you're right that there are worse things. And YAY for no new progression! I understand how badass that is! My scan is next month just to confirm they aren't making me sick for nothing. Hopefully I'll hear some good news too. Your situation reminds me a little of the beginning of Heather Jose's story; she's been triple negative for almost 30 years! She had her baby and then got told she had stage 4 breast cancer in her 20s and is now in her 50s. Heather and her husband, Larry, have a podcast here on RU-vid. They were both young like you and Grey, going to oncology appointments while caring for their infant daughter. They managed to raise 2 amazing kids while treating Heather's triple negative breast cancer for all that time, and they've interviewed their adult son about growing up with a mom who has this disease, which you may find inspiring. I wish you and your family a long and happy future like the Jose family!! Yours seems somehow more unfair than my cancer because I was over twice the age you were at the time of diagnosis. Mine made more sense in a way, I reckon. Keep hanging in there, kiddo! TLDR: You and your gorgeous family are such a beautiful inspiration to help fuel my own fight. Thank you for sharing your story!
It's great that your scans show a stable situation. There is no need to apologise for anything! Your health and your family must be your priority. We are pleased that you share your highs and lows, but understand that there are many ongoing demands on your time and energy.
Well done Samantha!!! Such wonderful news. You are doing so well. Sending you lots of positive thoughts and huge support. You are so amazing and very kind to share all your updates. You help many people going through similar problems with your calm intelligent attitude.
Yes, your last sentences are so true! I watched a bunch of Samantha's videos while going through treatment, and they helped SO much. Such a valuable resource, to see other people's experiences and to know what to expect to some extent.
So happy your scan was good! I admire your strength and grace throughout this journey. You're doing an amazing job and truly are an inspiration to me. Much love❤
It doesn't matter that the cancer is supposedly all out of the body when you have stage 4 cancer. It could still come back. And, most likely will. It's all about getting properly treated to live longer. If you live 10-15 years, or 20 even, then that's a huge win! ❤❤
I’ve been trying to figure out how to answer this in a way that makes sense so I’m sorry if I do a bad job. Those 2 things aren’t really related, but I guess also they kind of are. I’m not quite sure how much you know about this. The reason I’m on medication to lower my estrogen is because the tumor was estrogen receptor positive which means it was using estrogen to grow. To fight that, I’m trying to get rid of the estrogen in my body so it can’t use that as fuel. Could the cancer be changing in order to rely on estrogen less because it’s trying to grow without it? Maybe. Idk how “smart” cancer is, if that makes sense
It’s not unheard of for a second breast cancer to have a different pathology… and so , I agree with you, to continue with the therapy that you are presently doing. It is still performing well on the other areas ! You and your doctors will decide when and if to change the regimen. I am a two time survivor (2004, and 2021). You have the support of your loved ones…don’t let any internet trolls get the best of you…you handle it all with courage, strength, and grace ❤
I can't imagine being so young and going through everything that you have been through. My husband just finished chemo and radiation. He had throat cancer. I've seen how hard it is. We are exhausted. It's only been 9 weeks. But you have a baby and you keep going through it. We are sending you all the positive vibes. Thank you for sharing.❤🩹
Thats FANTASTIC NEWS ~ Thankyou so muxh for the update - l cant wait for part 2 of your other vlog about your back Samantha. Your so kind to keep us in the loop.xx
So pleased your scans are unchanged. These small wins are good. I think it’s great that you are so informed about your disease and treatment. I have a friend with a newly diagnosed glioblastoma (brain tumour) and she never asks questions or advocates for herself. I understand she’s scared but information is power because it allows you to make choices. But glad you and your little family are enjoying your life.😊❤ x
To be fair a glioblastoma is a completely different situation because there are not many trials and it's basically known as a death sentence. I hope your friend is one of the few who make it through, but with Glioblastoma there is often so much they can offer you
Hi Samantha! Yay🎉for no changes. I am NED from Triple Negative… I get why you are hoping your cancer doesn’t change. Hormone positive has a lot more treatment available. However, sounds like what you r doing is working!!!! You have lots of life ahead of you!💪🏻🩷 Much love to you and your little family!🥰
I'm sorry this is happening to you. I really thank you for sharing, tho. My mom was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I don't know anything, and i want to know EVERYTHING!!!! I'm scared.
I’m so sorry to hear that. It’s hard when you’re just starting out and don’t know all the information, but I’m sure you will become an expert over time!
Yes Samantha, all the meanies on RU-vid sound like this 08:55 😂 Glad everything is going well. If your daughter is congested, may I suggest floating half a peeled onion in a bowl of cold water and leaving it in her room (out of her reach of course!) overnight. It worked for my 4 children 💕
Stable is really good! Your videos help so many women who are going through the same thing. My friend had triple negative a few years ago. Her treatment was very drastic but she is doing quite well raising her son who was only 18mths at the time. He is now a teenager and she is still cancer free. You got this Samantha.
Im hoping you only ever get stable and lessening scan results. I wish you and your family nothing but the best, i love your positivity, its been really encouraging in a hard health time in my life where even being alive is getting to be uncomfortable but then I see your videos or Melanies videos and i fidn enegery to push through so thank you and best of luck with future treatments! ♥️
I think its Ctually an amazing idea having this information. It can sometimes be the difference between extending your life by a ciuple of months or years or even cure. I really really saw rhat on 2 other youtubers. Their wives had the exavt same cancer in the exact same location, similar state of growth and the same stage diagnosis but 1 youtubers doctors agreed to remoce her primary tumour and she lived i think over a year after when she had been givrn a few weeks. With the other youtubers wife, she requested tumor debulking and they said they didnt think it would help and she was dead within 2months. Knowing if your cancer is hormone hungry is also so important in treatment, found out from my mums journey so i hope you get all the results and extra informtaion you need to be able to be hear for as long as you can for your husband and your little girl.
So happy for you that there is stability. I had a PET scan this week and also had stable cancer except for one pesky spot. Hope your oestrogen improves. Your hair is the same length as mine! I stopped chemo in March. Thanks for the update!! Praying for you to be around for a long time and watch your daughter grow up. ❤
Hi Samantha....i love seeing you...the way you handle every step you've taken. Good thoughts and prayers your way. Your a champion in my eyes...you help many of us push through with your vids. Xx from Sydney Australia ❤🎉
Hi Samantha, I'm so happy to hear the good news!! ❤ I too am a breast cancer warrior. I'm on letrozole and verzenio. Do you remember what percentages your oringinal cancer had? What was the estrogen and progesterone percents? Currently mine is 95% Estrogen 3% progesterone and her 2 low. I didnt know the cancer could change like that. Enjoy your beautiful life with your family! You look really happy and healthy. I pray for you when the Lord brings you to my mind which is quite often.❤🙏
Why do you people keep saying bad things? Do you enjoy it. Put yourself in her place, but you cannot. Leave her alone and move on. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
Praying for a cure for us going through BC. Praise God your scans are stable. Continued prayers for you and your sweet family. You are such an encouragement to many. Have a blessed and fun Summer, we are about to go traveling too.
Sounds like good news. Hope you get a nap in today. Sick babies can do a number on you. I read your birthday is coming up soon. Happy Birthday, pretty girl!
I am so glad to hear that things seem to be stable for you. I know this is not the point of your videos, but I wanted to tell you that you are an amazing mom! It is so crazy in the world today that children need so much love and stability at home. That little girl of yours seems to have two great parents!
Do you have po box so we send you things. Gift cards door dash help with not having to cook when your feeling bad can your sweet baby anything. Make a Amazon wish list we go there so you don't get double of things.. You are Amazing mom we like to make things lil easier for you. Much love and prayers for your family
Im so glad you have no change. And your blue eyes looked so pretty with the blue top you wore to the marathon hospital day. I had triple negative breast cancer excised in 2001 with a finding of clear margins. I opted not to do chemo then, just radiation. The treatment protocol for maintenance after primary surgery/chemo/radiation with triple negative may have changed, but back then, there were no options. Friends I made who had some positive receptors were all on one or the other drug to keep there cancers at bay, but I had no option. I guess triple negatives can be more aggressive, but just having no options to keep the cancer down after primary treatment might have been part of that. But for me it has been 23 years with only a few scares that turned out to be nothing. So not all triple negatives are aggressive. I'm 73 and i guess my goal is to live as long as i can too! And oh, I remember drinking that CT scan drink. Yuck.
I too am stable. At first I was disappointed as some people get to no evidence of disease, but stable is good! There are specific treatments for triple negative if you get there. Hang in there you are doing amazing.
Very thankful FOR YOU and your family that your scans are remaining stable. Sending you many healing prayers that they continue to remain stable and even improve ❤ Keep smiling and never apologize for putting up videos when you put them up. ❤
Samantha, your strength is unmatched. Am so happy for you that things are not progressing negatively! Pray as you continue treating, you will see positive changes! You are a good mom, and I pray for healing so your little one can continue enjoying having a Mom like you!!!
Thanks for another update! Goodness, that's a big drink! I don't like to drink much liquid either, so would definitely struggle with that. Glad to hear that things are stable. You're managing this incredibly well. We only see a fraction of your life, but you seem to be quite resilient and it's encouraging to see. I'm praying for you! 🙏
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.John 3:16-17 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:Acts 17:30 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.Luke 13:3 Jesus died for you on Calvary’s cross and rose again to offer you a pardon for all your sins. His love reaches you just as you are. If you turn to Him in faith, you will know the forgiveness of your sins and have the assurance of eternal life. Jesus said, “him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” John 6:37 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.John 14:6 Praying without ceasing for you and your family and friends Samantha. I'm writing what i'm writing out of all the care and love i have!🙏♥♥🙏

Keep up the fight. My wife is currently recovering from chemo and a double mastectomy due to a hers 2+ diagnosis in December. She's doing well and you willl as well ❤ treatments are getting better every day.
I remember doing that with my dad. It was an all day event and thankfully he did not have cancer. He did have a incurable lung infection from being a kidney transplant patient. I took my mom to several scans also from MS, LUNG, BREAST cancer. 2 different cancers at same time but she did overcome those, stage 1. Thanks for sharing your story.
The more information the better for better decisions I found when I had to make my breast cancer surgical and treatment decisions. Good work staying informed.
Thank you for sharing this information and your story. Excellent speaker and very articulate. Much appreciation for your strength and generosity in sharing this experience. Wishing you so much happiness & peace!
Dear Samantha , You are such a strong woman. It is heartbreaking that being so young to have Stage 4 Breast Cancer. But you have a supportive husband, a beautiful baby girl. It is great your tumours are stable. I too have Stage 4 Breast Cancer, and my tumours are so far stable too. Thankyou so much for sharing your journey so far .🌸
