Hi Christie, how do you get rid of the pest/aphids for your vegie plants ? and how do you fertilize your plants ? thanks !

Aphids drive me crazy! Adding some worm castings to the soil can help, also you can spray them off with a water hose (which only really slows them down). You can make or buy a spray to kill them out of water and dish soap but I’ve found that can weaken the plants. They like being in crowded spaces (with lots of hiding spots) so thinning out that part of the garden can help too. Good luck! For fertiliser I top up with compost occasionally and use the black marvel liquid fertiliser every couple of weeks on plants that need fertilisation (some are better off without it.) Good luck!!
