my favorite thing about living here is hunting, fishing, the woods,rock climbing, and showing off to the tourists and also snowboarding at eaglecrest

I'm thinking about going to Juneau for vacation. Is it true, the only way in and out is by boat/ship? How many days would I need to enjoy my stay? Without feeling like I'm rushing through everything.

Bluenose352 Hi! I love Vacationing in Juneau. I've usually spent about two weeks vacationing, but at minimum, I think you need at least five days to really enjoy everything. Yes, Juneau can only be accessed by plane or boat.

Bluenose352 Yes! It's serene and the sights are breathtaking. One thing to note is that it does rain a lot. Two weeks would allow you to enjoy the sunny days.

Bluenose352 Yep, definitely pack a rain jacket and boots. Whale and eagle watching are two of my fondest memories in AK. It's breathtaking and very special to see both whales and eagles in their natural habitat.

+sacca madiqeu I'm an outsider, but I wouldn't hike alone. Alaska is so beautiful, but can definitely be dangerous if you are not familiar with the land. I would take a buddy.
