#FlashbackFriday to the fun our community had during the Juneteenth celebrations. Thank you to Killeen NAACP for hosting, our Mayor Debbie Nash-King and Councilman Jose Segarra, and all the other local organizations who joined hands to make Juneteenth memorable.
Special shout out to our intern, Hamida, for putting together a fun recap video for us! Hamida is a student at the Killeen Career Center with an interest in video production and multimedia. She’s so talented! In her short time with our Communications department, she’s already attended major city events, developed various modes of multimedia, and learned about how our city operates.
