the fact that ever since debut Ilhoon has always been included in the top 10 best idol rappers in Korea. Koreans always say that Ilhoon has a very clear diction, although he's known for his lazy rapping but he can rap extremely fast as well, he just don't breath lol and he raps so fast but they can still understand what he's saying. And even until now he's still highly ranked among idols who owns a copyright for songs. The latest update was in January 2022 and he was ranked 18th despite being inactive for 2 years at that time with over 103 songs copyrighted. It truly shows how much he contributed in the industry. Not to mention that he also has one of the sweetest personality. This is why most melodies and btob themselves just can never forget him. There's just no way.
The reason I like Ilhoon's voice is that he has Character.The lazy rapper is pleasant to the ear, not insistent and has clear articulation. even if i close my eyes i will know it's Rapper Ilhoon.
Fun Fact: Ilhoon never auditioned in Cube. Once he figured out he wanted to do music and wanted to be a producer, he begged to talk to Cube's president and asked them to take them in as a trainee and due to his strong personality, his eagerness to achieve his dream, and his potential, they took him in as a trainee and did not only became a producer, but BTOB 🥹😭 This talented man, he deserves soooo much. He deserves all the love. 💙
A little correction, he didn't ask them to take him in as a trainee, he wanted to become a producer but the CEO convinced him to become a trainee to be an idol rapper himself. Imagine the world where Jung Ilhoon was only a producer and never showed his rapping skills, his dancing, his wits and personality, his charismatic performance on stage, as well as his beautiful face and that smile in front of the camera.
I miss Ilhoon "the scammer"/marketing-genius😢 His witty and hilarious theory to promote the new album is 🤣🤣👍👍 Also, every time Hyunsik tries to make a joke, he's always the loudest and quickest to laugh.

Aside from being an amazing rapper, Ilhoon is one hella talented producer, composer, and lyricist. Big Wave will really surprise you, can't wait for your video on it. His song Spoiler is also a personal favorite of mine. There isn't a choreo video for She's Gone but he did perform this on music shows so there are live stages if you're keen on checking it out. Also, love that you mentioned how great the music video is because it really is, and it is shot so wonderfully. The phone dropping at the beginning is still one of my favorite shots in kpop mvs.
I really miss ilhoon. His voice brings different flavours to btob’s musics and whatever it is, i just hopes he’s happy and find his way back making musics in the future. He’s such a gem🥲💙
The way I immediately click onto the video when I saw my notification omg you don't understand how much it makes me feel so happy and giddy whenever someone would react to Ilhoon especially those who are just getting into BTOB, now promoting as a 6-member group. Ilhoon is such a talented individual. He's one of the best rappers in the industry, known for his very unique tone and flow. He's also one of the most sought after producer/composer (mind you he belongs in the top 10/20 composers in KOMCA, alongside Minhyuk and Hyunsik). And not only that he produced/composed songs for BTOB but for other groups or solo artists as well. He may not be a BTOB member now but he will always be part of BTOB's history. He made a lot of sacrifices too, along with the other members, and contributed alot to the success of the group. So, whenever I see a mv/live performance reactions to Ilhoon, there's this reassurance that there will never be an Ilhoon erasure. I do think that you will enjoy these BTOB songs which were composed/produced by Ilhoon (i.e. Movie, My Lady, The Feeling, there's a lot to recommend actually). 😅 Anyway, thank you so much for reacting to She's Gone. I became a melody because of this song ahaha it was the dj for the idol radio, pentagon was invited and she's gone was playing at the end and i fell in love with this song and btob ahah! thank you for your reaction, Ilhoon is a very talented rapper, producer, composer and lyricist! He wrote a song for Pentagon (another cube group), the title is beautiful (and the song is very beautiful hehe) and the song "always" is with Jinho (main vocal of Pentagon).
I miss the times he was Idol Radio's DJ, I used to watch/listen everything, and when there was other Cube artists or Apink or some other favs, it was the best feeling ever
that's my king right there, the one with the best stage presence in BTOB, so important for the group as every other member, and I will forever hate the way he was kicked out of the group for such a stupid reason. He always will be part of the group and its history. I love him and miss him so much, I really wish someday he could join BTOB again cause my heart hurts whenever I see any recent video where he's not there and kinda looks like there's no evidence he was even there in the first place. Ilhoon may look cool, classy and swag, but he is actually a softie, a good and caring brother to BTOB and to his sister, and a polite person especially to the elders. And I miss Ilhoon's rap style. The melodic lazy rap and his voice is just so unique. I hope one day i will be able to hear his voice again with a new masterpiece. And also his way of producing or composing songs for BTOB.

Yes Pat! I personally would recommend you to listen to Beautiful by Pentagon after you're done with all his solo projects. Ilhoon wrote that song while thinking about his BTOB members, but because of one thing or two he gave the song to Pentagon. You can see how much he loves his members by reading the lyrics, and there's also a part of the lyrics that was based on one of their MTV Diary episodes. You can even guess which part was meant to be sung by Eunkwang, which part was meant to be sung by Sungjae, and so on if you listen to it after you're finished listening to most of BTOB's discography. When I first heard this song, it got stuck on my head for a week. Hahha. Even when I encounter a sentence with a shes gone words on it, I instantly sing this rhythm of shes gone by ilhoon. 😂 I wont deny the fact that this is one of my fave songs by a btob member. 💙
