We've only just glimpsed the tip of the iceberg of talent coming out of South Korea. When I first starting realizing the depth of talent in BTS and then other SK rappers, I was like wow is it like this everywhere in the world? And it is kinda. I have found some great rappers in Nigeria, Thailand, Japan, France ofc, and freakin Yugoslavia! But none of those have the "bench" as we say in the US that they have in SK. The communities of great rappers is deep. They all have their own unique styles but I would say SK also has a style that defines it that goes beyond just the pattern of the cool language. Even if they continue to rap in English I think SK Rap might become a thing someday, the way there is East coast, west coast, Atlanta rap, etc. For example, Zior Park raps exclusively in English but has a style that is like no one else (cept maybe Tim Burton-ha)

Eversince I discovered KPOP especially being an Army with the rise of BTS from their debut in 2013, I never went back to watching Western artists music videos simply because they all show skin, the quality does not compare to Korean’s no expense spared when it comes to production, top notch performances, their venues and stages for their award shows, etc. It puts American shoes and music videos to shame.
