If you notice that in verse 1 jungkook said "never let go" 11× representing BTS 11 anniversary... And Jungkook said on weverse the " never let go" repeated chorus part is long because he actually tailored that part for a house dance performance. Buy he didn't had enough time to record the performance before goung to military. He was taking house dance lessons back in 2022. It'd have been amazing to see the performance as well but still it's so good.. 💜

Along with JK, Starboy is one of the producers. JK is also credited for writing, composing, vocal arrangements, backing vocals and guitar.

it is a guitar in the intro which is played by jk himself. and i think “star boy “ is jk himself. he produced this together with some people. he also sang the backing vocals and adlibs are all jk.

Do you think that younger people who haven't grown up listening to vinyl are less sensitive to repetition without variation? Because the chorus is about two lines too much for me. Maybe even four. It gives me heavy Broken Record anxiety - memories of running across the room to reset the needle... 😅

Oooooh this is such a fire theory omg! I have never heard this before but that totally could be why! Even kids nowadays haven't had to deal with a scratched CD so they have no concept of that issue either
