Skin-wise, he does have good skin, but you have to keep in mind it's also a mix of makeup, studio lighting, and editing that goes into smoothing things out. Even just studio lighting does wonders for your skin, something as simple as a ring light. His skin looks like actual skin and less abnormally smooth irl

The dude is right. Yes, there is a definite difference and you can tell. South Koreans have a softer look and attitude amongst all Asians. If they're swag and have style they're most likely Korean. A lot of other asians are influenced by their style and so the imitating nowadays can sometimes mistake a japanese or chinese as being Korean. As for the skin, it's true. Skin care for Koreans has always been apart of their culture. Looking "clean" is a priority, it means you need to respect me because I respect myself. Washing daily, sometimes multiple times a day is quite normal. If you have body odour then people will let you know. The good skin also comes from their main diet, lots of fruits and vegetables. From birth, Korean mothers make sure their children are fed the healthiest food available. In terms of cooking, where the chinese use a lot of oil and frying, and the japanese focus on seafood, the Korean diet is plant heavy. Traditionally speaking. Generally speaking, for Koreans looking your best before stepping out is a must and a social responsibility. Whenever I go to Korea, I often feel I'm under dressed. The best part is that while being there I find myself trying to do better for myself as well. So overall, it's all good. After you spend more time with Koreans, you get to see that difference. Their faces are different and for sure they are much more swag and friendly.
Just to give a heads up about bts songs, they are about positivity, self care, mental health, female empowerment, and cyberbullying. Their earlier songs were about girls, but they've always change their styles.💜

Most of bts, including Jungkook, are darker than they appear in videos and photos. The company loves to whitewash. I agree though, he is so pale in this video. Total vampire energy😂

Of course Jung Kook would have four of the biggest choreographers as his back up dancers! Jung Kook said in an interview that they had more than one choice on which way to go with the choreo but they decided to go with a smoother style for this song.

Thanks for the reaction. JK is super talented and Seven's choreography is good but simpler than many he's performed. BTS choreography is amazing and they are excellent dancers. I recommend the Mic Drop MV and the dance practice too....and if you want to complement, her performance is amazing too. But there are many others, the choreography of "On", "Bulletproof", "Run BTS" and "Fire" are also fantastic.💜🇧🇷

Glad you guys like the song! You’re right, The explicit definitely changes it- we all thought so lol. Also JK said in a live that this was the easiest choreography he’s had. If you want to see harder choreography check out BTS as a group especially RUN BTS and ON (Kinectic Manifest film). I think you guys would like the Rapline though, so definitely check out more stuff- it’s mostly in Korean but there are usually translations and captions, and they for real have bars. In Korea being as white as possible is the beauty standard and unfortunately they whitewash the beautiful naturally tan skin of most idols. I’ve met Koreans darker than me and I’m half black 😂 (I’m light but still half black)

The vocalist are Jimin, V, Jin, and Jungkook. BTS are the group who introduced the world to kpop. BTS started from the bottom, When they first debuted, BTS and their agency, Big Hit Entertainment, were considered small players in the world of K-pop (during this time kpop wasn’t worldwide it was mostly just listened to in Korea). As a result, they struggled to get recognized among their more established peers. Other kpop groups even looked down on them and mocked them without any reason. And yet BTS managed to be bigger than the Kpop industry itself and that’s why many army’s don’t view them as Kpop since they go beyond that. BTS even made their small company which was about to go through bankrupt, become the biggest company and that company (HYBE but used to be just Bighit) also goes beyond kpop now, they signed Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, etc. BTS also write their own music and they also produce. BTS also has two professional dancers which are j-hope and Jimin. Also RM and Suga were underground rappers before debuting in BTS. I don't know how to explain this as English is not my first language. But during the old days..pale, fair skin is always associated with the nobles and the wealthy as they are always under the shade and never really do any hard labour. Meanwhile, the tanned, dark skinned person is associated with peasants. They are the one that's doing the hard labour under the hot sun without any shade just to have a meal for the day. So, in the end, our beauty standards are somehow still related to our history and how the generations after perceived it. If that makes any sense.
Ok, some might have said it’s hard to tell them, Asians apart. No it’s not, Koreans look different, Japanese look different, Chinese look different, the people in Thia, Twain, Philippians, or Vietnamese look more similar than Korean, Japanese and Chinese. But, as soon you hear them talk, you can tell where they are from. 💜

In S. Korea and many asian countries, the paler the skin, the better. Unfortunately, they wear makeup to whitewash their skin. Bleaching skin is also pretty common. Speaking from an old white chicks perspective...(with really pale natural skin) I don't get it. I love more color. I am old enough to be ya'lls grandma, so this is just a compliment, but the 3 of you all have great skin, too.
There's a specific lighting they use in real time that causes them to appear lighter than they actually are (it neutralizes their undertone). The K industry is obsessed with a "light" appearance.
Most of the BTS members are pretty tanned, they either just have weird lighting or get whitewashed to fit Korean beauty standards, JK is one of the members who are pretty tan.
I recommend a few songs for some of the members. We got jimin who’s a vocalist so either set me free pt. 2 or like crazy. RM, one of the rappers and he has either wildflower and still life ft anderson paak. Another rapper is jhope, he has arson and more. He did collab with j cole so if you want to check that out too, it’s called on the street. Suga is the third rapper and he has daechwita, haegeum and amygdala. You can watch those three in order to understand the meaning of the songs. V is a vocalist and he hasn’t put out new music yet but you can listen to singularity and Jin is another vocalist. He has one called the astronaut. I recommended songs that have music videos and subtitles.
