It's funny that you mentioned that you mentioned Dom because I see Jack as AEW's version of Dom. Both are the exact same age, both started as faces and both sucked at it. Remember, Dom was terrible at giving promos at first and look at how much he's progressed now. I think what really helped Dom progressed as a mega heel was feuding with his Dad. Remember, Rey is an established, veteran babyface and you need that to develop new heel characters. Rey really did an awesome job helping his son get there. AEW needs to do the same thing with Jack. Have him feud with established, veteran babyfaces that will help him get there. Eddie Kingston is the right guy to help Jack get to that point. Hangman, Omega & a face Jericho (if they're turning him face) would be excellent choices too. However, I guess they're doing that rn by having him work with RVD, Taz and Jerry Lynn.

Fun fact: Darby is the only one of the Pillars who hasn't gone dirtbag heel on the fans and, by dirtbag heel logic, has the most reason to turn heel himself given how much of the fans he's given himself Also, Jack did really well here, it takes real patience to drag a promo out to "ASSHOLE" chants if you haven't had a lot of practice at it. The Jurassic Express reunion tease and Anna-Jay references were smooth, so was the high-tail to the SUV - Hook was D1 lacrosse and Jack sold that hysterically in the chase - just terrific.

Best way to turn Darbs heel would be to have a good little run of tag wins for S&D, but close wins where Sting isn't there at a critical moment and it almost costs them. They get a shot against FTR in a gentlemen's contest for the belts, Sting gets taken out of the action somehow, can't make the save this time and Darbs gets Big Rigged. Darby viciously turns on his idol, wipes him out with the skateboard post-match and cuts a promo about being held back by Sting. We get a feud between Darby and Sting. I would probably make it a trilogy with a dq or no-contest in one match, one where Stinger wins because Darbs gets reckless and gets himself counted out, Stinger gets back in the ring at 9 to take the win. 3rd match Darbs wins and destroys Stinger after the bell and hits him with a coffin drop to end his career. That match happens on PPV. Stinger has to hang it up soon and this would be a pretty good way to do it.

He's right about 1 thing because during his match against Douki, people was booing on him a bit. So, basically, the fans kinda turn on him. However, that's no excuse for what he did to Hook because he'd did nothing to deserve to be taking for granted. And if I were Jack Perry right now then I better not put Hook's father, Tazz, involved with the feud they're having right now. Cause as of now, he's no better than 2 of his former friends (Christian Cage and Luchasaurus).

Jack turned on Hook due to jealousy since the latter gets to still be a champion even though his title isn't even sanctioned to begin with. Jack on the other hand felt that he had been robbed out of every opportunity when it comes to a world championship.

A little awkward in the beginning and the line about bangin’ Anna Jay was extreme for it to be his first segment as a heel but I like what they’re doing with his character. He’ll get more comfortable on the mic. Nice ending with Schiavone referencing Hook’s speed and the follow up with footage backstage. A Jack Perry-Hook feud should be entertaining.
